Blimey! Thats had a hard life. .how is it people can drive fine cars with all those faults? And so many cars have tyre advisories ,,,, really not that difficult to check are they ? :(

And the log book missing, very careless attitude methinks...

What else is wrong that is hidden away?

Whoever buys it will need to budget for new front springs and shocks i reckon. It looks like the bare minimum was done each year to gain a pass so when the front spring broke presumably only the one would have been renewed causing severe imbalance across the springs and also the shocks. Only way to get it safe is to bin the springs and shocks now.

Before i got my Coupé, some clever character had replaced one complete front leg (spring, shock, hub, disc, caliper and pads! :o ) to replace a leaky front shock. This meant two imbalanced springs and shocks and worse still, one knackered disc and pair of pads!

Soon after i got it, one of the front shocks went so i replaced both with second hand from a known source and the springs at the same time and that's when i noticed the knackered disc. New discs and pads followed although one side was like new.

Totally transformed the ride and handling! The braking too as not only were the pads and discs new, but the shocks helped improve the braking as well.

Looks a cracker Bill, thanks for sharing ;)

Stu . ?? looks fine low miles the damage on the vinyl section of the drivers seat seems the achilles heal on these cars, although mine is not bad there, mine is the vinyl panel that has the seat forward lever that has damage?
