  1. Breaking it does make sense to a certain point, a lot of suspension parts for KB1s are NLA, Springs and shocks being the main issue if you want to maintain a standard ride height. Importing parts from Japan or the US and your probably talking £600 to £800 for a pair of front shocks and springs. I would imagine every KB1 has propshaft howl between 30 and 40 MPH, it just depends if it's got bad enough for you to be able to hear it over the radio, the cars are very well made but the youngest is 15 years old now. I'd pay a decent chunk of money to be able to replace my pox ridden glove box door 😁
  2. These are US Service manual doawnloads, you might be able to get the information you need and reverse it to apply to a UK car. https://www.mediafire.com/?k8jqxt8q6t7yq Obvious caveat, becareful when downloading and opening PDFs, get your virus scan to check them. Nonoe of the links above are mine, it's just what I found in a quick google there is a UK workshopmanual on DVD for sale on ebay from an Italian supplier if you want one.
  3. Who's feeling brave? No idea on the problems he describes but it might be an easy fix for someone with the knowledge. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186268026479?
  4. Honda don't seem to want to invest heavily in EV platforms. The US Acura and Honda EV models are based on a GM platform and battery pack. I think they are hoping that everyone will go Hybrid.
  5. This is probably your best hope for a decent set of wiring diagrams. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256316779120?hash=item3badabaa70:g:3msAAOSwYp9j5i6T&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4FWd2fkas9kl25f8FgOKn3szVFac5uf0NZroSKNW38vMmEoq4n7vLqDew%2BIkR6Dqt17T%2BSBni6S69bV%2BjUN96MKU36iql%2Br0E3ImZ3NNQ9zueIfSXUja7uWdXrX4%2B5ZC%2FhZTi%2FwqXddF%2B%2BRNHg028mgMMZBLsMv23MH6baUUomRDeWm%2BfZ5r1bGb0pjQnylMtPpG3QD3F79N5D47krIyMm6vLLZ2dAY4UD%2F2xblK2yuuXX%2B0QGxLl8WIFrbK8f0%2B4uccImXoBcQqxM0XQfb3xBMZNDRz7hqdS9ytE%2BVeqg0C|tkp%3ABFBMmqGlkp1j Quick Google reveals that it's the memory circuit for the user settings for the clock, stereo and possibly the sat nav. It's possible that it's looking for the Bluetooth unit you unplugged as that would have user information on it.
  6. Sweet Jesus that spoiler is awful, the poor old thing will probably be pleased to see the crusher 😁 Alloys are quite nice for an aftermarket set though.
  7. Silicone can ruin your paint and it just doesn't work very well in outside situations, the OEM go for PU seam sealers and Tiger seal is cheap and easily available.
  8. The T Series Turbos are good engines, I had a 220 GSi Turbo for about 6 months and it was terrifyingly hilarious, the engine was gruff but had a wall of torque and the car was incredible in a straight line and f*"%^*g terrifying in the corners, it would spin its wheels in 3rd and torque steer all the time, I loved it. The T series showed it's true Rover/BL heritage by leaking oil like the Exxon Valdez, but at least the car didn't rust. It got smashed into outside my ex's house and written off, I got a 216 SLi to replace it as my insurance took a hammering from the hit and run. 620 Ti's were good fun as well.
  9. I'd never use Silicone on a car. you probably want to reseal with a PU sealer similar as to what has been brushed/applied from factory. I had success using Tiger seal on a similar problem on a Lexus RX. https://u-pol.com/product/adhesives-sealants-plastic-repairs/adhesives-sealants/tiger-seal-polyurethane-sealant-and-adhesive/
  10. I've recently swapped some 2017 Falken Zeix 914 on the back of the Legend for a new set of Falkens Zeix, it has completly cured the car of a worrying tendency to slide the back of the car out in wet conditions. Sumimoto make Falken and Dunlop so they are always an option, my brother has a set on the back of his A5 and he's been very happy with them.
  11. I'm on holiday at the moment Kevin, I'll have a look in the manual when I get back next weekend.
  12. There is always the AliExpress Android option if you cant get the System working. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/navitech-android-auto-w-full-android-system-1001817/ https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003567982750.html Let me know how it works 😁
  13. It seems it's a common issue for Legends or RLs. https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-90/05rl-fm-radio-static-rear-defrost-802927/
  14. A new pair of Zeix 310s fitted to the rear today, they are already quieter than the old 914s that I had fitted on the back.
  15. 09 Legend with a chrome delete was spotted coming down the A509 Hill towards Wellingborough. I would have flashed but I was in the Volvo XC40 The chrome delete made the legend look much more recent, It is something I thought about doing with some Satin Vinyl wrap as some of my chrome strips are damaged.
