Lovely example I must say. Ritchie...you know you want a Legend KB1. As Big Arnie would say “DO IT”. 😎
-
Oh my...now that is a lovely Legend indeed. Love the way the lights are blacked out and that body kit! I’m salivating like Homer Simpson. 😍
-
The rear lights look coolio, really goes with the colour.

Lovely. Can’t you try and get back that cherished plate you had, would then look 😎.

Pretty sure it isn’t illuminated, don’t think it was in my previous 1999 V6. Strange really. What’s strange too is that my KB1 Legend doesn’t have a headlight level switch? 🤔 -
Wow. There’s either 2 or 6 currently sorn, very rare and lovely.

You’ll notice that Dave aka Laird Scooby does like his lube! Ooo err Matron. 😀 -
Welcome to the fold Lumpy, you’re in good hands. As a previous owner of two coupes - 2.0 ES and 3.0 V6 - I can 100% confirm you have a great USA made car, very rare too. How’s the gearbox, is the fluid ok?
-
I used to see a V6 around here but haven’t seen it (or any other coupes) for literally months and months. 😳

What Stu says...bear in mind the age of the connectors etc. You could put a coupe of those damp traps from Poundland etc in the cabin and boot are too, I’d put one in the glove box, you’ll be surprised how much water vapour they suck up. -

Flex is so well protected you could dip him in a tank of acid with no ill effects. ? -
Well, I can safely say that the Honda Brake Assist works fine on Lennie! I had to slam the brakes on due to stupid woman driver pulling out at the lights. I slammed the brakes on and the pedal felt weird in that the pedal travelled further than normal and didn’t feel hard (ooo errr Dave). Lennie stopped dead, thanks too to his new discs and pads. Apparently, the car learns your braking style and when it sense effectively an emergency stop, it applies maximum braking force. Happy Days. To thank Lennie I’ve just treated him to a polish ☺️ Here’s the sales jargon on the press release: Brake Assist Debuting on the Legend, Honda’s Brake Assist is a new technology that helps the driver apply full braking pressure in an accident avoidance situation. To do so, a microprocessor continually analyses and “learns” the driver’s normal braking habits - monitoring both the rate of pressure applied and the total pressure that the driver normally applies to the brake system. If sudden braking occurs, Brake Assist brings the system to full ABS activation to help stop the vehicle in the shortest distance possible and is only activated when the microprocessor detects that certain brake pedal speed and pressure thresholds are reached. Importantly, Brake Assist assists the driver in obtaining full braking performance in an emergency. The Brake Assist system deactivates when the driver releases pressure on the brake pedal.

I have found some on EBay that are apparently made to fit the Legends footwell perfectly. As we’ve got months of rain and wet coming, I just want to save the Axminster carpets from getting dirty etc.

Well, Leonard is running like my Omega, next thing to do before we experience “the worst winter in decades” is a coolant change at Honda HQ. Lennie’s been all over the West Midlands today....over to Walsall, then over to Aston, then over to Sutton Coldfield. As always, he’s a pleasure to drive. Makes a change too turning the heating up after the recent heat wave. As well as the coolant, the next thing I need to do is get some rubber winter mats and remove the shag pile mats. Ooo errr Dave. Any recommendations for quality rubber mats chaps, looked in Halfrauds and they’re not the best quality, prefer fitted ones too.

There is a V6 couple local to me, not seen it for a while though. I’ve had Lennie since Jan and I’ve yet to see another one so far.

Welcome aboard Jon and welcome to our little bit of the internet for all things Coupe and a Honda related. Have a browse in the forums as there’s lots of interesting articles. Welcome again.

Welcome aboard Matt, what a cracking example, lovely shiny red too. You’re in the right place for all things coupe, have a good look around the forum for lots of interesting articles. I’ve had two coupes myself and current have the KB1 Legend. Welcome again.

Their Ultimate Polish is superb and I might try this next time I’m in Halfrauds. I do like a nice clean seat and that looks like it does the business. I think Meguiars is a great car cleaning brand.

Exactly David.

Pardon me but am I missing something? Why would the customer believe anything Kwik Fit say when you have already serviced the brakes? Besides maybe a tyre I wouldn’t let the KF monkeys anywhere near my pride and joy! Metal on metal? What a load of old cobblers, If it were me I would have been on the Bat Phone to Stu quicker than you could say robbing bas#@&. I would see them in court as they released the car in an unroadworthy condition. ?
