  1. Is that £400 quoted by the lube supplier? Could be cheaper to arrange your own shipping though. My employer has an account with USPS and I would be willing to buy same quantity as you and share freight costs
  2. Ha. The Original Jurassic Park. You like coffee? I have a spare Bewiched Coffee 10% loyalty discount card
  3. Yeah, still frosty some mornings so winter I'd say. Cryistic, where abouts in Northants? I work Criw Lane but live in Kettring
  4. Really? My KB1 is 2006/7. Still haven't worked out which but dies have both. Either it/they were an option (though they all came fully loaded) OR the radar sensor was damaged in the collision and hasn't been replaced and now disabled. Though the system self test would show a fault warning I'd have thought. Do you have the owners hand book? Have you found the near secret manual holder tray in the glove box yet 😁
  5. No, because I have a Legend, not a coupe. They are local to me and I used them for new struts for a jukebox
  6. In anticipation of cocking up EVRi delivery perhaps 🤣🤣
  7. https://www.metrol.com/ in Northampton can supply gas struts just give them the length. Various types of ends available. Search the website
  8. Are they using using Aeroflot 😫
  9. Tell me about it. Been waiting 18months and still no sign of a Honda fest 😫
  10. Am I correct thinking you ordered a new starter by part no. Or did the shop order if from your original fitment. Did they see yours first? If the teeth were worn away on the old, first thing that should have been checked was the teeth on the ring gear. Stu, is it a permanently engaged type starter?
  11. I had a similar issue but hadn't touched or replaced anything on the car. The only thing I may have done was to hit a random combination of keyfob button presses, due to me having my hands and arms full trying to carry too much. My issue stopped the same day though and has not reoccurred since. Hope you sort your issue quickly and cheaply
  12. Them AND me. None of us are getting any younger 😭
  13. I have for years, always wondered why vehicle wiring schematics never list the location of vital components like relays and multi-way connectors etc. I assume the "drivers" seat in the schematic would be our passenger seat.
  14. Good to know. Not that far from me either. Had I known Daventry was within your travelling distance I might have suggested Sheltune in Northampton. Always took my starter motors there years ago.
  15. Googled Alternator and Starter Motor repairers but got 100's locally. Saw a quote for alternators ranging from £45 - £85 so £100 for a brand new one seems good value. Be mindful of import duties though!
  16. Fob doesn't have a panic button and the handbook says if it did have, the horn will soundheadlights ights will flash. I only got the siren. May have pressed open and closed almost at the same time though.
  17. Stepped out the house this morning with arms full of cardboard recycling. Pressed the keyfob to unlock the boot and the security alarm started sounding and I couldn't shut it off! Think I accidentally pushed it here buttons on the fob at the same time but not sure. Alarm (electronic siren) sounding from the rear of the car. Alarmed for a while, stopped and repeated 5 seconds later and repeated again and again and again. Eventually is did shut down for a while but would start again and repeat as I wondered wtf was going on. Horn was NOT sounding and the immobiliser was not active so I suspected an ultrasonic (or a tilt switch) issue. No mention in the handbook which fuse or circuit the security system uses, probably for obvious reasons! Used the spare key to lock/unlocks doors be no difference. Drove to the petrol station with the alarm going off and on but half way to the recycling centre it stopped. No rhyme or reason but just stopped. Both journeys were a matter of yards not miles. Probably no more than a mile and a half to 2 miles max after which I haven't had any more occurrence......yet! Any thoughts? Off to get some new fob batteries CR1616 - just in case .
  18. I've always used specialist rad companies. NR Engineering (Northampton Radiators) or NAR Group also Northampton based are both excellent
  19. Welcome Stu. You are in my neck of the woods. I have owned a KB1 Legend since last December and am lovin' it. Can't over emphasize what a great help and resource the Honda6 site is. Good bunch of Guys too and looking forward to my first actual "meet". Delayed by Covid, obviously.
  20. Stu, how much are these now? And being USA, are ALL the glasses etched " objects in the rear view mirror may appear smaller" ......... etc. Do you know?
  21. I have a Legend KB1 and the 4 bumpers each have a chrome trim. Not an inserted strip though as your link would suggest but a properly shaped and tapered chromed moulding. "Rechroming" would be the best long term solution
  22. That's got to be a concern and brought to the attention of trading standards firstly for the sh*t workmanship and then reported about passing dodgy MOT's. If they take his license away, and has to get his work tested by others, he'll not be in business for long
