  1. Just a heads up, I was lucky enough to find a jdm breaker of the same model but 5 years newer near Dover. The only other options were: - To import a used radiator from a japan based breaker for about £5-700 to the uk landed. - Get a custom radiator made, quoted about 500 but it wouldn't have fitted as well as the original as it wouldn't have had all the fans mounting points and a/c rad ledge with mounting points, plus there is hardly any room once all of that is installed, so it would have been a bit risky. - Or I did find a UK jap parts company with a brand new honda oem one for approx £1250 they wanted. (only one I could source in the whole of the uk.)
  2. My radiator is part 19010-RKC-901 I called Nissens directly and they told me that isn't a valid reference for them although I got in touch with that company with HD1058 listed on the web (awaiting response), then I got in touch with ARKS Global Ltd and they cross checked all the references and hit a brick wall with no results. Proving to be rather tricky.
  3. P.S. sorry I have just revisited the previous posts, I will take a more in depth look at hughezee's part numbers given.
  4. Hi all, So the Elysion has been sat in storage for a while, unfortunately I did not have much time lately, so this got put on hold. However on Saturday I did the job and took the rad off. It was unbelievably over complicated to get the damn thing out. Cowling covers off, air intake pipe off, front grill off, air con rad separated, bonnet latch mech removed, two fans unbolted and unclipped, plugs to remove all over the place and cable tie clips with wires etc. And hardly any room to move about. There were also two unexpected lines that connect to the bottom of the rad I assume something to do with the auto transmission. Anyway, I got in touch with Huddersfield rads and they had half hour getting some info on the rad before calling me back. They said a lot of imports have issues that the top or bottom plastic tanks get brittle and crack over time. Like mine has. In the end they said they would have to make a custom rad from scratch most likely. Now I would say this sounds great in theory but I am a bit apprehensive that this rad has to match perfectly to fit in the small tolerances and the fact they there is a ledge all around for the ac rad to sit on and various mounting points required for the 2 fans and the a/c rad to bolt onto. I thought I would give Honda a call, they managed to find the oe rad part and told me that they were £677.00 but that they are now discontinued from manufacture and no stock is available. So a new oe rad is out of the question. Since I last posted, has anyone had any more experience regarding aftermarket parts / a blueprint that will do the job for me before having to make a custom rad. Some of these readily available Odyssey rads looks near perfect and I was wondering if the 2.4 setup on an Elysion is identical to any other Honda models... I have asked Mishimoto also as they seen to have a stock of all sorts of Honda rads. Cheers, Farley!
  5. Hi guys, I was wondering what the consensus is going to be on fueling the Elysions. Is the E10 fuel going to work ok / be a good idea, as I currently fill up with the 95 unleaded. Or is it a case of putting in premium from now on. My engine is the 2.4 although I suppose the 3.0 will be in the same situation?
  6. Sorry for the delay guys. Yes I am going to whip off the radiator, hopefully a fairly simple job ,although fan and a/c radiator seems to be bolted to it also. Then I intend to get it sent off to https://www.huddersfieldradiators.com/ They seem to have lots of good reviews. Thank you.
  7. Hey chaps, sorry for the delay in responding. Nice to see some helpful people into these cars. I will get some images together too. Thank you

  9. Hello chaps, Long time scanner of the useful forum articles, but new signer-upper! Currently have a 2006 Honda Elysion 2.4 Auto in pearl white. (Since 2017) It is a spare "work" vehicle and hasn't been used very much for the past year. Upon bringing it back into action, I did a couple hundred mile journey and eventually noticed steam / a slight leak from the top of the radiator. If the good old rad weld doesn't do the job, is there anywhere to source a replacement radiator that fits? Cannot seem to find anything. Much appreciated. Farley.
