Administrators hughezee Posted September 25, 2014 Author Administrators Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 Could be an option http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-LEGEND-2009-3-5-V6-VTEC-AUTO-TIPTRONIC-EX-PEARL-BLACK-ONLY-47K-HUGE-SPEC-/251649702521?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a977dba79

The body kit does look awesome though, they are really good looking cars with great interiors. They just need to come down to below £4000 for me to be able to consider one as a coupe replacement.
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted September 25, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 I think you'll wait a long time for that £10k to drop off the price tag Richie! Nice car although I can't help thinking "Prelude on steroids meets family car". Just seems too boy racer to take seriously as a Legend, I'd rather have the midnight blue one I saw the other day - much more laid back!

Seeing as it's in Bristol and that's where my coupé came from the first thing I'd do is spray all the fasteners and undercarriage with WD40 or similar. Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 10, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 10, 2015 Just checked the location of this one, it's quite near me (and nowhere near Kings Lynn!!!) so if someone from here does buy it, feel free to drop round for a coffee/tea and a chat.
Founding Member Cryistic Posted January 12, 2015 Founding Member Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 You need two things with this lovely Legend Coupe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1992-HONDA-LEGEND-COUPE-AUTO-WHITE-/221653385910?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item339b9242b6 Real shame as they are lovely looking cars, I'd like to have one that isnt 92% Iron Oxide

Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 21, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 Nice car but a lot of money for a car with no MoT! Maybe i've been spoiled with the dip in Rover 800 values but is a '94 Legend coupe with no MoT really worth a grand?
Administrators hughezee Posted January 21, 2015 Author Administrators Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 I see your point Dave, allot of sellers like to leave some room to haggle though the values of the accord & legend coupes is going up, three years ago you could pick up a real bargain I did myself Beat-up examples go for 750+ on flee bay auctions lately also having our little club will certainly help keep the interest alive
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 21, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 I think there's a fair bit of room for haggling there Stu. In fairness my coupe was initially advertised on car and classic for £600 (again with no MoT) but i paid £300 for it and a few quid more for the remains of the tax. That was about 18 months ago though and the prices have gone up considerably so maybe it's more realistic than i first thought. There seems to be a nice renaissance at the moment in older Honda and Honda-derived Rover values and hopefully that will continue. It's certainly about time!
