  1. I thought I was the only one in Torbay with an Accord Coupe, and then this appears on a side street about 2 miles from me. 2.0 litre...... Anyone seen it before? With a TT suffix, this one hasn't strayed far since first registered.
  2. Computer (Driver Information System) is listed .....what is this? Didn't know the coupe had a computer system? Unless the seller means the door and lightbulb failure system?
  3. Mine makes a grating noise from the rear, when reversing. Bearings are fine and passed 2 MOTs, I'm thinking it could be a similar issue.
  4. Sold for £1560 ....not bad!! Did the LAPD ever use Legends, or was this a tribute / mock up ?
  5. Looks just like mine, but with half the miles! A great buy, in my opinion!
  6. The Dremel sounds best! I don't weld well enough.... I only own a stick welder, and that might be too fierce.
  7. some good tips here. I abandoned it yesterday, as the light was going ..bloody autumn...should have done this in the summer, yet there;s always something nicer to do in the summer!! I managed to get the impact on it, but it just kept turning, and the mole grips kept slipping ! It's not the end of the world, so I'll have to get up in the morning and allocate a day, instead of an afternoon. I'm thinking split the nut with a Dremel............watch this space.
  8. Doing the rear drop links (ARB links in another language) and these things are a bugger. Rusted on, and not a lot of room to get a power tool in there , other than maybe a Dremel. The links that are fitted are the type with the Allen key slot in the threaded part of the bolt, and it's been rounded off, probably by rust....no facility to get a spanner on to hold the bolt, while I attack the nut. I might just be able to get a drill in there, so I think this will be the way forward. Any tips greatly appreciated.
  9. Take a look at my Instagram page, and YouTube channel as well! Early days, @streetkaaccord #streetkaaccord https://www.youtube.com/@streetkaaccord344
  10. Someone who follows me on Instagram has a 2.0i ES , manual for sale. Just failed its MOT. Sounds like he's about to weigh it in, which is a shame. He's here. https://www.instagram.com/hulloautoeclectic/ Don't forget, follow ME on Instagram as well !!!! https://www.instagram.com/streetkaaccord/
  11. mine's SORNed at the moment, 2 cars taxed is enough at the moment, but I do miss driving the Coupe, so it'll probably go back on the road soon.
  12. Those Cornish are a funny race of people. And you pay to leave, via the bridge, not to enter. So that keeps them all in one place. Jam on first as well. Shocking.
  13. There is a green one hiding somewhere in Torbay, possibly Brixham, with the gold plated badges. I've never seen it parked up and only being driven around the area. There's clearly around 170 on the road at the moment, but not that many on this forum, I'm thinking.
  14. Interior looks good as well, in beige velour. Did the UK get this option?
  15. I thought they all had that rubbing strip on the door....mine's certainly got it and it's a V6.
  16. Welcome! Might be a good call keeping stock. I have an aftermarket cat on mine, which visually looks smaller than the stock one. Previous owner had the original stolen. However, while it passes the emissions test, the CO seems to run higher at about 0.28% at fast idle, which is close to the max at 0.30. Other guys here running stock exhausts are running much lower. Where are you based? Most seem to be up t'north......I'm in Devon. Ohhh Arrrrre!
  17. Those wind back tool sets you get on ebay are great, definitely an investment. Coming from someone who wound the caliper back the wrong way once and the piston came out. (on my Vectra).
  18. OK, update.... It's not pretty, but I relented with superglue and also used cotton wool to use as base which seems to be holding quite strongly, tidied it up a bit with the Dremel and then I used a black Sharpie to colour in the white of the cotton wool!
  19. OK, I've broke the tab on the lid of the cup holder bin. Any suggestions as to a good fix? I hate super glue, I can never get it to fix properly. Same with Gorilla glue.
  20. Try a scrap yard? I bought a mid and rear section off ebay 3 years ago and stored it until i needed it, which was last year for the MOT. £125 delivered. Admittedly. these are getting rarer than hen's teeth, but you never know your luck.
  21. Makes sense. I think the quality of Bosch generally is not what it once was.
  22. Thanks Stu, PM me the cost and I will have them off you gladly!
  23. Might just do that. Despite the low mileage, they were all looking like the porcelain was affected by heat, all had brown heat marks on them.
