  1. I'm in Paignton. Mine's the V6. Bought on eBay! Won the bid at £1200. Within days, the car wouldn't start, but put it down to the fuel pump relay, and have since bought one of Hughzee 's recon units. No problem so far, although I find it works better if you wait for the system to prime before starting. Bit like waiting for glow plugs to heat up on a diesel. Love the rarity of it though!
  2. Hi Buddy, I'm new here too, only had my V6 for a couple of weeks so far. Great forum, just a shame there are so few of our cars around, as I'm sure it would be much more active. I'm also a member of the Vectra forum, which is far more active! So far though, finding it invaluable. I was only looking for Accords a couple of weeks ago, so can't help thinking we might have been chasing the same cars? Where did you pick yours up from?
  3. What mystifies me is why does it say Accord underneath the rear spoiler, where you can't actually see it, and why doesn't the red panel on the boot line up with the indicators and stop lights on the rear light units? Other than that, I love the styling!
  4. Anyone come across this one before?
  5. Can't seem to post photos from my phone on to this forum, so will have to wait until I am on my laptop.
  6. Thanks each and everyone! I love the look of the car at the moment, will keep you posted on the things we get up to!
  7. Already asked my first question about the thermostat, but found this site by accident the other day just before i bought my V6. Not sure if this one has cropped up on the site before, but my Accord is 98 model. Considering it is 21 yrs old, it's pretty mint! A real survivor car too, haven't found any rust yet either. Mpg doesn't seem too bad, either(i've had worse.. a 2.3 Granada springs to mind).
  8. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, after buying a 3.0V6 the other day. I've noticed the temperature gauge never quite gets up to half way, which makes me think, which one is best for UK use? Motor factors eg Autodoc and ECP seem to list 4; an 82C, a 78,77 and a 76degree C.
