Hopefully just suface rust on the discs 🤞🙏 I would expect a smidge of movement from the inner CV joints not much though and as long as no ATF is leaking from the differential I would suppect the outer joints will need packing with fresh grease to settle things down. 🤞 Sorry to hear this 😢 glad you are ok which is the main thing.🙏

The solenoid screens were clogged (I did take some pic's cant find them ATM), adding some additives helped in the first instance and follow-up reported its running great in the new car. 😁

They are basically both located on the lower front right side of the car, see pic's below.

Sorry to hear of your recent troubles with your coupe, it could be any number of things such as spark plugs, cca issue with the battery, ignition switch, dizzy and rotor. Think starting with the basics, check for spark or fuel and follow your way back to the offending article. 🤞

Well the car is booked for collection this week, it has supplied many parts to several coupes now and I'm pleased to say saved a couple of better examples too. Its sweet running engine is off to Germany, to swap with another which the cambelt snapped. Additionally, my newfound confidence, that I found the issue with the transmission was proved correct, as it has since been fitted to another car and works flawlessly. 😁

We only got 6th Gen Coupe in the EX spec (RHD) although the 2.0-litre ES was considered an entry-level model, but it came with EX interior anyway.👍

We did have a respectable percentage of owners compared with other online communities covering more common models, which has faded with time... Just for interest, I've updated this post linked below. 🫣

Hi Dan sorry to hear of your alarm troubles, there is a connector on the latch to the switch which fails due to corrosion. Anyway, if you still need assistance I will post some pictures or check out the post below.🤞
