  1. I have some spare, drop me a DM with your details and I will sort those wires as well...πŸ‘
  2. I would avoid doing anything until the warmer months, just concentrate on cleaning e.g. inner the wheel arches and where you can reach with a hose or jet wash under the car and it will help remove any loose underseal and rust too.. At least then you'll have a good starting point to start the protection in the more suitable weather and you won't trap moisture or salt...
  3. Great work Paul, regards rust prevention and rust inhibitors, most products prevent rust and spraying over existing rust without some preparation first can create more problems. Yet to find a single product that works in all areas, so I use a combination of different types of rust prevention. Since most good companies already have them in their product range you can stick to one brand at least. The thinner products work well in seams of panels, e.g. doors, inside sills etc rather than exterior areas, sometimes heating up a thinker (non-aerosol) product works just as well, if not better long term. Additionally, try to avoid any rust prevention on the lower clamp as it will likely damage the hose(s) as it will be good for another twentie+ years πŸ˜‹
  4. Sure I will sort out the wires needed and yes HB3, HB4 are the main bulbs. πŸ‘
  5. I would start by pulling bulbs out and see if part of the lighting circuit is shorting out, strange how your battery went flat pretty quickly too.πŸ€”
  6. Just hope they're genuine plugs, eBay & amazon are rife with fakes.🀞
  7. Hold fire on those parts I will price up the bits needed, as I wont fit some once trusted brands e.g GATES...
  8. Welcome to the club Dave and congrats on a very wise purchase 😁 as well as Richard I have maintained your vehicle for several years and if you have questions don't ever hesitate to get in touch or post on the community. Even just sharing your journey with your car would be greatly received by club members, especially @Retro Rich. πŸ‘ So if you want to share any pic's feel free to post up in the gallery or you can email me directly: hughezee@live.co.uk
  9. Great to hear you've got the issue sorted, did you manage to source a replacement distributor assembly? Also, the idle surging is very likely because the IAC valve is stuck or needs cleaning.
  10. I did spot this one on FB marketplace, looks like a nice motor... πŸ˜πŸ‘
  11. You or anyone else will never find one that good ever again... πŸ˜‘πŸ˜’

    Hi All

    What Pete said πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ™
  14. For reference for anybody wishing to retain steering wheel controls there is another unit that works on the coupe a In car tech V1.94
  15. Look what I spotted on a coupe today a propper towbar and recently fitted too.πŸ‘ @PaulS @kindzal
  16. Nothing fancy nancy, cut out the rust treated and profiled on the inside with fibreglass filler and a quick sand and paint.πŸ˜‰
  17. Hi there and welcome to the club πŸ˜‰ whereabouts are you located πŸ€” I might be able to help with the parts you need. πŸ‘
  18. Another vote for Tiger Seal πŸ‘
  19. Welcome to the club, looks like a beast of a motor, especially with that 3.5 under the hood...πŸ˜‹πŸ˜ In regards to the fuel consumption and following on from what member @PTR200S AKA Pete has already suggested, thumbs up on Thermostat BTW. I would try and avoid cheap fuels if possible although there's not much in it these days with ethanol killing MPG on the majority of motors new and old. Another thing is engine oil plays a big part and thin oils aren't always best, a 40 multigrade oil would be better than 0W20 for example and the transmission must be tip top too as there are so many miles lost in slushbox auto's and another point would be new lambda sensors and possibly consider a new IAT sensor too. πŸ‘

    Honda Odyssey

Hi there and welcome to the club, the Odysseys are great motors I have two of the older 2nd generation with 2.3 F series engine but the K24s are great engines. However, the one you are considering would be a 4th generation model (2011) and you'll likely end up with CVT transmission so make sure it's regularly serviced with the correct fluid. In regards to faults nothing really to speak of if it has been regularly serviced as it's essentially just a facelfted version of the third generation and there's lots of info about...
  21. Certainly is mate, they are better built than any old Mercedes and that's saying something.😁
  22. Fresh calipers for @Retro Rich Shuttle recently. πŸ‘ A full set of new rear hoses ordered (+fronts) and today I have managed to bag a pair of new old stock rear brake discs for an NSX Β£40 notes delivered. Turns out the shuttle shares the same rear discs πŸ˜ƒ (same part number: 42510SP0000), more updates to follow soon.πŸ˜‰
