Sorry to hear I've chucked a spanner in the works, but if you ever got stuck the UK CH7 accord exhaust will fit. 😉 There are a few aftermarket CAT backs available and with a few minor tweaks and no performance issues. 👍

Yes the Type-V steering wheel 😃 + the UK model isn't part of the recall = RESULT 👍

I would be very careful about modifying the exhaust as the F series engine is super sensitive to back pressure. I would avoid exhaust places offering more free-flowing exhausts as it will rob the car of power and it will very likely stall regularly. 👌 My suggestion would be just to copy its current system exactly as it is 👉 assuming it is still the original one. 🤔 Additionally, if you're going for a duplex system (twin exits) I would half the size of the rear silencers to balance it out.🤞

The city pack was an option in later coupes not colour-coded 😏 I had them on mine, some earlier models had colour coded ones like @AhsyV6 @Coupeman @Chrismas

Guess it depends on what you might need e.g. fuel lines are not available from Honda UK anymore, but still can be made by garages.😉

Yeah, that's great hear and RockAuto are a good source for parts, but the USA spec 2.3 model doesn't share the same Brakes or Fuel system as its UK version and the 1998-2002 UK Accord Hatch & Saloon model doesn't share really anything with USA built coupes.

Parts aren't too much of an issue if it ever needs anything, but preventive things go a long way e.g. manual gearbox oil and a timing belt & water pump would be my highest priority. Yes in both 2.0 & 3.0 1998-1999, BOSE was an option from 2000 for both 2.0 & 3.0, pretty much all 2001/02s had BOSE.👌

Well, the airbag inflator portion wasn't replaced, after a heated discussion with the service dept with they tried to tell me they changed parts inside the inflator unit which is a load of B.S. When I told them I marked the unit and the screws and put fishing line around the steering wheel, they went red-faced and couldn't say anything else, so I just walked out.🤬 The car spent 20 mins in a service bay and came back without anything out of place and the battery wasn't even disconnected the clock was still 4 minutes fast and the trip had the same mileage. Anyway, I called Honda UK and I explained what happened, they were very apologetic but kept pushing to get me booked in at another dealer in the meantime. Nope, not doing anything until I hear back from somebody higher up about this crap. 🤨

Did a quick interior clean and not forgetting fresh oil, PAS fluid drain an re-fill before the trip to the dealer. 🤐

I had to cancel last week's re-call appointment due to work commitments, so it's been re-booked for tomorrow and the airbag(s) are marked.😉
