Indeed you're right Stu, a few hundred £ changed my Volvo from being a near-end of life car into something worth a fair few £££ now and i've had the enjoyment of owning and using it. Pretty much essential for me for walking the pooch these days as well so it's a win-win for me.
Administrators hughezee Posted March 20, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted March 20, 2021 Nothing really to report on the oddy, recent stat and oil change and still running sweet as a nut... 😁 1

Administrators hughezee Posted May 27, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted May 27, 2021 New battery for the oddy today, a replacement has been on my mind for a week or so now, the car wasn't feeling right etc, then battery light flickered yesterday and engine labouring, radio sounding tinny. So checked ECP last night found a Varta Blue 156 Car Battery - 4 Year Guarantee, Product Code: 444771562 with discount £82.19 and available to collect from my local branch today. Then that got me thinking about carparts4less 🤔 same battery with discount £67.36 delivered, it was delivered from my local ECP free of charge this morning. 😄 Car running loads better now, got the old battery tested and it failed test. 😁 1
Administrators hughezee Posted June 15, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted June 15, 2021 Got screwed again 😦 on the bright side it was a great opportunity to see what the ATR rims will look like on RA6. 😍 1
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted June 15, 2021 Moderators Report Share Posted June 15, 2021 At least it's in a repairable section of the tread Stu so if they tell you they can't repair it, you can tell them to "screw off"!

Administrators hughezee Posted June 25, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted June 25, 2021 Apart from ordering a couple of bits from amayama nothing interesting to share atm, well not until they arrive. 🖐️ Although I did stumble across Japital FM recently, sounded remarkably like Capital FM.🤣 2

Administrators hughezee Posted December 16, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted December 16, 2021 Following the oddy passing MOT with flying colours, decided to take it for a long run and have to say it's running superbly it basically drives like a new motor to sum it up.😁 2

That part for an Elysion rear wing cover was nearly four times the price by the time they added shipping to it..and it was a very light part, less than 1.2kg

Administrators hughezee Posted April 11, 2022 Author Administrators Report Share Posted April 11, 2022 A little prep with Dinitrol ML Cavity Wax an then two cans of Dinitrol 3125 HS Rust Proofing Cavity Wax in each sill on the oddy today. 😁 1
