Any questions feel free to ask and if several bulbs appear blown for example in the instrument cluster, I would also consider possibility the light control multiplexer may have a problem. Check out the link below ;)

A car’s alternator is not designed to fully restore a depleted battery, but rather to maintain a healthy one. It is important to routinely charge car batteries that are used sporadically – like in a car driven only for short distances. However, whether your car sits outside or is in use every day, you can use a battery charger to keep it starting easily.

Most chargers are designed to diagnose, recover, charge and maintain a wide range of batteries, in a wide range of applications. Some trickle chargers can be left on a battery indefinitely. These would be used on a vehicle that is not used all the time or is stored away for the winter or the summer.

You get what you pay for I think and yes, although the prices of Honda bulbs are eye watering, I would much rather buy a genuine Honda bulb for £5 and know it will probably outlast the car than buy El Cheapo bulbs and have to change the blooming things every week.  I'd just get the Honda bulbs personally.  ;)

Hi chaps.

Strangely enough I have only just noticed that some of my Dash Lights are not lighting.

In the following photo there seems to be the following: Temp Setting on right hand side; Temp Setting Adjuster. (Looks dimmer in real life). A/C On-Off Switch.

In the following photo you can only see the Cigar Lighter and the 2 Heated Seat Switches. The Headlight Adjuster and Headlight Washer are not lit. (Sorry camera would not focus).

Could someone please tell me what Bulbs I require for each as I cannot work out from Diagrams what I need to get please. Thanks.

Also I would like the Standard Bulbs please. ;)

Cheers, Bill. :)

Hmm, funny that, were they working at one point?

Have they failed together?

I noticed last night the clock in mine was dark but couldn't recall if it was lit when I got the car,,, just wondering if mine about to start popping.

I had similar issue a couple weeks ago and noticed 2 of my gauge bulbs weren't working and then after switching the engine on and off they were working again.

Bill I'm pretty sure the head light adjuster isn't lit. I've got a spare centre control unit at Home and will check tonight about the bulbs but have a feeling you'll know from the other members before I can check.

Hi Stu.

I would be really wanting the Original Fitment so as to match up please?

Thanks, Bill. :)

Hi Stu.

Yes, it was this Diagram Below that confuses me.

Which Bulb is the A/C on-off Switch Light, and which is the Bulb for the Heat Control? (I was thinking 6 & 6?).

Yes Pete, I only noticed the Bulbs out for the first time last night....??? But then again I have never really looked at the A/C Control Button at night before so not sure. :(

But the Heat Control switch is definitely new. I think...?? :)

I've always known that the Headlight Washer Switch and the Height Control didn't have, but apparently the Height Control doesn't have a bulb anyway. Strange when you think that is the one Switch you would need to see at night!!! "It's a mystery"......???

And I have just realised that the Hazard Switch is not lit...???

How about I just sort you a replacement unit with new bulbs + the door card lens I promised you ;) I get good discounts from Honda and the foam showing behind the readout screen is probably annoying you as it would me. Then I could just illustrate the process for the benefit of others and you send me your old unit along with your old instrument cluster with the high mileage on it (which replaced the original faulty unit)?

I will dig one out and illustrate it so you're fully prepared when you have all the bits I'm going to send :)

The rear of the headlight washer and fog light option buttons, the bulb holders are made of rubber and lift off, rather than twisting out ;)

Close up to rear of the centre climate control unit and bulb illumination locations shown below ;)

Hope that helps somebody until I can get a video done...
