Administrators hughezee Posted October 10, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted October 10, 2014 Taking a leaf out of AhsyV6's book on this one and liking to idea of these rear lights, most manufacturers started a model off with an amber/orange section in the lights and later models or face-lifted versions featured a clear element what are your thoughts guys an gals https://www.ebay.com/p/DEPO-98-99-00-01-02-Honda-Accord-2d-Coupe-JDM-Red-Clear-Outer-2-Pcs-Tail-Lights/658629393

They are actually very cheap too including customs charges from the US. The OEM bulbs won't fit in the Depo lights and you will also have to change the cables over. I replaced the orange indicator bulbs to silver coated ones and again looks like chrome throughout. My first ones lasted me 6 yrs and then condensation started to form inside and I resealed them and sold them on Gumtree and ordered new ones again. Definitely order them.....I promise you won't regret it.

Founding Member Cryistic Posted October 15, 2014 Founding Member Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 Don't really see the appeal to be honest, aftermarket parts never look as good as the OEM parts. this is right up with fitting Lexus style lights on a Poxhall corsa. Administrators hughezee Posted October 15, 2014 Author Administrators Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 Come on Richie eat your snickers bar Totally get the Lexus style lights on anything but a Lexus and if I don't like these lights I will move them on "Simple" I like to validate my opinions on aftermarket parts when possible and in my opinion, this could just be a nice facelift for the rear of the coupe. Lexus, Nissan, Rover, BMW, ect ect have all opted for clear lenses near the end of a model or a facelift spec. Even Honda has done it with the Accord, Shuttle and in the CG2 the EX had clear front lenses, LX, DX had orange inserts.
