  1. Hoping the Bosal and Depos are in good nick😉
  2. Let me know if the cruise brings you to North London????
  3. As always thank you so much for the detailed response and also as always a lot of it over my head due to the pinpoint explanation (it’s the maths and physics that gets me). This is the link of the bulbs I have: WLJH White T10 Led Light Bulb W5W 194 2825 Car Dash Lights Gauge Dashboard Instrument Cluster Panel Interior Lights Twist Socket PC194 PC195 PC168, Pack of 6 https://amzn.eu/d/cO0gzLl
  4. Just wanted to know if there would be any issues sticking 5w 501 bulbs in the rear of the dial panel instead of the 3w? I finally replaced the “discotheque” flashing leds the night before the meet but the originals are so dim in comparison. The leds light up perfectly with no bleeding but within 6m they start to flicker.

    I’m new here

Welcome mate, where abouts are you down under? Look forward to the pics.
  6. Sorry to hear this mate…..ALL that effort as well. You’re a credit to the CG2 community mate(amongst others)
  7. Just found this…..would consider this if the dollar was so strong! https://www.ebay.com/itm/384670126611
  8. I get all of that and all I was just casting an option saying that I didn’t thing it would have much of an impact given that he’s done the suspension and that ride will be different anyway. I never dispute what you say Dave…..I’ve learnt too much off you to do that!
  9. Sounds nice! I don’t feel after all that work you’ll feel much more of a difference going from 215’s to 225’s
  10. Fair dos. I think an increase in wheel diameter would have more of an impact that width of the tyre….do you see my logic?
  11. I have 225’s on my 17’s and it has Koni shocks and H&R springs and have to say the ride is spot on. It has been 8 yrs now so suspension parts have worn hence the car being with Stu so maybe he’ll give an honest opinion.
  12. Just in case you didn’t know but all our coupes were made in Ohio U.S.
  13. I’m pretty sure the internal locking switch was for the U.S. and/or European market (excl UK).
  14. You know as well as me that’s there’s no coupe out there on par with yours so what’s the point of comparing! Ps let me know if you want to get rid of your Bosal😉
  15. Oh dear…..looks a tad American. Interior looks ok as in the seats…..don’t like the look of the after thought looking bolt on iPad. Why can’t they build it into the dash. This one may pop out on electric runners/guides.
  16. Clearly jumping on the band wagon now mate!!!! They’re such a lovely car to drive! Oh well just need to wait and look forward to my train ride to collect it and the 140mile drive back……might even take some A and B roads for a bit of fun😉
  17. It’s hard enough being without my coupe already and now you’re deliberately making me miss mine more now mate!
  18. Went to book in my air bag replacement yesterday and when I was walking back to the coupe there were 5 blokes standing around my coupe having a good ole look. A couple of the youngsters were debating 2.7 or 3 ltr. Ended up chatting to the service floor manager for about half an hour about the coupe and his 2.8i Special Green Capri…..it was lovely! We discussed me attending the Enfield Pagent of Motoring next year to show off the coupe as this is the kind of car people would love to see. Him and a club he belongs to have got section for classic cars as opposed to the vintage stuff the pagent was introduced for. I’ll probably keep in touch and if I still have the coupe next year I’ll book a place and see what people say.
  19. Thank you so much for that comprehensive instruction Dave. Points taken on board Stu. You will jot be surprised to hear that I’ve not done anything yet. However the car started overheating the other day and then was ok for 4-5 days and now as I type has heated up again. I noticed that when I switch my engine off the fans come on and then turning the ignition to Position 2 switches the fan off and then ignition off switches them on again. I have opened the bonnet and see only the right fan (passenger side) is working and running for ages. HELP REQUIRED PLEASE!
  20. Looks like I’ll be changing the stat then and doing a back flush(how ever that’s done)
