  1. I changed my tyres to Dunlop 225/45R17 91Y SP Sport Maxx RT and had covered 22k miles on them. The reduction in noise was pretty amazing and very noticeable. I replaced them last Jan via National Tyres (Best price I found) with the mark 2 models and they are as good the mark 1’s and have better rim protection. I also took out their Lifetime Tyre Guarantee for 2 of the tyres. I’ve recently gone through some “fantastic” London craters and noticed a bulge on the front offside tyre. I called National Tyres and my new replacement tyre under the Guarantee scheme will be fitted this Saturday. Worth the £7.50 for each tyre. Dunlop : 225/45 Y 17 : Sport Maxx RT2 P (Rim Protector fitment) part code 2254517DU2Y
  2. I’ve bought a few from eBay so I’ll look out for one. Not sad.....passion for this Coupe gets the better of us.
  3. I totally missed this post. Do you have the brochure? I’m going to look for one for my collection
  4. MOT was 2 weeks ago answer passed with no issues
  5. You’re right they did check this in detail and they said all was good. However I read up on ball joints afterwards.....just clutching at straws. I will get the alignment looked at.
  6. Everything Dave and Stu said and for what my pennies worth is worth Could it also be the thermostat sticking? Maybe checking your inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator to see if one stays cold whilst the other is hot could be a sign.
  7. Thank you Dave. Along with all the other advice I’ve been given I have also read up on the symptoms of ball joints failure. I’m confident I have at least couple of areas in the steering/suspension that need replacing. My ride over uneven tarmac is rough and also noisy like a loosely muffled knocking. Just feel like changing all the arms, bushes and ball joints to eliminate the issues and also freshen up my 20 year Coupe. I’ve checked my power steering fluid and there’s no bubbling and it’s still at the max line. I replaced about half of it 2-3 yrs ago which I mentioned in a post on here.
  8. I used to think (and still do) how futuristic the design of the Mk1 Legend Coupe was for a car from 1988. That interior is so comfy and stylish. I used to always have my rear armrest down.....just liked the way it looked and that it separated the rear seats and was really comfy for the rear passengers. There was a distinct leather smell I’ll never forget which my friends one STILL has! Lovely!
  9. Thanks for the responses guys. I know that my ride isn’t right and will Spend some money on it soon to get it back to its old self. It also skips when going over humps and on uneven bends.
  10. Hello all, wanted to get some advice on the topic heading. I’m finding that my steering is slightly slow at returning to the straight position and on occasion I need to feed the wheel back. Any suggestions what the issue could be?
  11. Love the detail on the mirrors too....I had mine painted as well back in the day
  12. If you are considering a respray then I’d definitely consider a detailer to look at the body work first. Any one decent could possibly work miracles.
  13. Stunning man!!! Look seriously tasty!
  14. The cleaner is excellent. Always comes up a treat in my Coupe
  15. Which Focals did you go for? I bought PS165FX component speakers for the front doors but the door panel need to be modified to accommodate them.....this was 3 yrs ago and I’ve still not done it.
  16. Apology not accepted....as there wasn’t one required😀
  17. Give me some credit Stu😀.....clearly those seats are with the headrests removed
  18. Very very nice Coupe. I have to disagree on the rear seats though....I much prefer the design of the UK model full interior seats than the US model....only my opinion though. Love the fact you're completely replacing all the suspension related parts. I’d love to do that but time, money and also a certain Administrator on here is overworked so can’t get a look in😉
  19. Hello mate, what Dave said was right in that I have found that consul gets lighter as it meets the dashboard due to sun light fade. I can’t comment on the shade due to year and batch as I haven’t had this experience. Good luck
  20. Mate, that is a touch and a half.....a free Legend Mark 1 Coupe!!! Gorgeous colour combo! Looking forward to meeting her one day. Picking up my friends Mk 1 Coupe from Northampton in the next couple of weeks. Another stunning example

    Hello!

Welcome Josh. You’ll love it on here. There’s a solution to anything Honda related😁
  22. Impressive mate! I nearly took my finger off with a half hearted attempt of what you did. In the end just swapped the plugs over.
  23. Got a true beauty there. Wheels look like new!
