Some insurance companies should not even be in business. When my car got hit on the rear bumper I had a no fault claim as the other party was at fault. But when I got my renewal through my premium went up to just under 2k I called them and asked WTF and they couldn’t explain the hike in premium. Shoped around on the comparison sites and got my premium for £275 a bit of difference.

Which Engine Oil 2005 -2010 KB1 Honda Legend 3.5 V6
Brett replied to hughezee's topic in Engine & Faults
Always liked the Mobil ESP oil, assuming that's what Stu put in? -
Just a thought Stu this is not the same problem as the 8th gen Accords suffer is it. I no the trims lift and need reseating on the Accord but not sure if they leak. touch wood mine is fine on my car.

Mines in the roof console by the reading lights.

Lovely car Geoff and fantastic condition. I must admit I would swap my Accord in for one of these but only the running cost for me has stoped me. Only because it would be my daily car and do around 14k a year.
-
Looks in fab condition and low mileage as well.
-
Just a thought Stu with the odyssey getting better and better. Could the ECU be self-learning to the new ERG valve?
-
Nice car but perhaps asking to much for it.
-
The wheels would put me off tbh. As if the wheels were aloud to get in that state what other hidden gremlins are there with lack of love with the car.

I think Pete Its a case with mine that there one of the 1st LEDs to come out. iv had them for 7 years and the new type will be much improved
-
Iv got led in mine and agree with Stu the light output is no better than standard lamps. Im going to up grade to these leds as the lumin output is fantastic. http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/interior-leds/14k-gold-led-range/14k-gold-festoon-led/14k-gold-festoon-31mm

Good old USA always come up trumps for our Honda’s. Iv brought a few modifications myself from the USA for the Acura TSX that is almost identical to the UK 8th gen -
Look a fantastic job Stu.

Just for ref this is the kit Iv been using for 3 years and have had no problems at all. https://www.heeltoeauto.com/ingalls-engineering-rear-camber-arm-and-ball-joint-kit-one-side-2009-14-acura-tsx-35623.html

Link above bud. Ingalls are very expensive but fantastic quality imo I have always had great reviews on there products.
-
I’m not 100% if this is your car application but Hear is a link to a company in the USA Iv used and recommend. https://www.heeltoeauto.com/camber-kits-arms/

The 7th and 8th gen Accord suffer from rear camber problems and are not adjustable. There are lots of aftermarket fully adjustable camber arms and ball joints on the market now to correct this. Im currently running igalls ball joints and adjustable toe in toe out arms and the tires are spot on now. Also these are a must for lowering your car on 7th and 8th gen.

Looking fab and love the slammed look. Just watch out for speed bumps

Brett replied to hughezee's topic in Suspension & Steering
The Accord 7th gen is the same Ash but the 8th gen is better. Even better with my Aspec fitted as this gives around a small 15mm drop. -
Yep TLC in Stu hands
