  1. Probably one of the best kept and maintained out there. Sad to only see it in the flesh in random passes on the A59. Hope any sale goes well Pete and idiots are kept at bay. Pity a swap couldn't be worked, because if you've s V6 itch that wants scratching then these hit the spot.
  2. Todmorden is only a 30 min blast from me. Might just rock up with my purple coupe and ask if they'd trade in for a laugh.
  3. On TV. 2nd episode of "Wilderness" 41secs in blue coupe. On Amazon prime.
  4. Bit of a faff and grazed knuckles from radiator fibs but definitely doable. Was the first thing I did to mine as I had exact same issue. Solved it.
  5. I think that's the steering wheel that's been put on mine. Half matching veneer half leather? Not sure why they're all not like that.
  6. Ooh purple one's 😎 We need to create a H6 calling card to leave and gather in these loose one's 😁
  7. Nor mee but I'm early spec. Could have done with it tho as it's a lot of body work to get hit and mines certainly been thumped over the years
  8. Just hope it was plumbed in ok 😅
  9. I now don't feel that bad about not sorting mine. Though my steering wheel did get replaced for a matching uk spec walnut one by previous owner 🤷
  10. Urrgh I hate them. Even on my drive to Cosford the amount of reckless undertaking at speed was ridiculous. Yes people sat in middle lanes and some refusing to override cruise control when in 3rd lane are frustrating. But to boot it in first lane zig zapping away only to get nowhere was distracting.
  11. Yes, just before that new straight stretch. I was sat opposite test running the Bora as both cars gone down with stuck rear calipers within a week 😐 You took the volvo thing by surprise, made me chuckle 😁
  12. Brakes bodged and made the trip to RAF Cosford and back. Only issues are the appearance of random speed cameras up and down the M6 going past Stoke.
  13. Emerald green one nr Penwortham yesterday showing some fake 4x4 a fresh pair of heels from the lights to my amusement. Just missing a spoiler 😉
  14. All back together and cable hooked on. It's the mech at the rear of the caliper that's not clicked and loose. Time to contact some breakers me thinks and pray
  15. Also when looking online after giving car details. They all look slightly different to mine where the spring is located and handbrake mechanism. They're all 1998 - 2008. Is this right? This is the equivalent oem numbers apparently: VSBC202R 43012SEAE01 43012S1AE01 Honda Accord 1998-2008 (Models with 260mm diameter brake discs)
  16. All back together as best I could still sticking along with now a slack hand brake and light on dash. Did hope it was because a bulb was out but no, I appear to have bust the internal mechanism too 🙄 I give up
  17. Just saying I hate 20+ Yr old crusty rear brakes. Turns out the boot for the piston had a tear in it so water and rot have set in over time.
  18. Which way is it to wind back just so I'm 100%, its the o/s one if that makes any difference. It's been a while since I last did one. Think I wedged something in the groove with a G-clamp last time which worked ok if slowly.
  19. Southport Rd in one of the garden centre car parks (Sooty and Sweeps, for other locals) the 2.0l red one T290 NLE was parked up looking good. Pity I wasn't in mine. Got a pic but on a different phone now so no links to post sorry.
  20. So yeh freeing up the sliders on rear caliper hasn't worked unfortunately 😮‍💨 I think it needs to come off and try and wind it in and out with lubing up or just replace as i haven't the tool for rear calipers. Other car is also crocked and booked in so stuck, if you pardon the pun.
  21. Popped out for a test drive after fettling with sliders in a hope to remedy sticky rear caliper. Pulled in at local garage. Closed at 8pm instead of 10. Decided to wash it and watch all cars come n go. One guy reverses back to, I expected "Where's nearest garage?" But instead chatted about the coupe and how you don't see any about and how he had the 2.2 accord and a prelude back in the day.
  22. They are what they are, and that is - a marketing tool. A stop gap until something better is brought forward to the table. The best and most truthful quote I've ever read is "we must remember, electric cars aren't here to save the environment. They're here to save the motor industry and sales".
