  1. Hi all, Thought i'd share some random thioughts about my fist 2 weeks of ownership (introduced myself in correct place few weeks back). Should say i am a serial car changer, had about 22 different cars in the last 20 years but this is my first Honda. usual favs are E39, E36/46 BMW's, Saabs and unloved MG's (ZT is a great car really with the right engine..) First off - what a car! lovely driving position, great power delivery, what a steal! The auto box is a little hesitatnt, and i'd love a 5th gear, but thats about it. Thats all I can complain about! other than car specifics.. I need to sort my stereo out (thanks to Hughezee I have some speakers for the price of postage, just need to fit them), the wipers need changing, strange left suspension noise that will need sorting at some point, I want to look into getting rid of the silver door trim (I think it ages the car) and I think a private plate to hide age would be good too. I hated the exhaust at first, but have grown used to it. The bonnet needs sorting (laquer peel) and the wheels could do with a refurb but other than that ALL IS GOOD! I will change the headunit for a bluetooth (sat/nav maybe?) jobbie once speakers sorted as well I guess. A/C - fine C/C - fine Electrics (inc. seats)- fine c/l - fine reasonable MPG (copnsidering age, auto and 3.0 V6) - fine amazed! oh - and I have yet to see another one - not one - since buying this.Which i like very much! best of all - what a forum full of great people! I think I will be sticking with this car for a while.....
  2. Gloucester. Yes might be an idea just to see what they say - I know its the exhaust because if i rev with the car in neutral same sound appears I need to get the stereo sorted, the bonnet done, the wheels done and then the exhaust and i have a smashing car wghihc i thi9nk looks a lot newer than it should do, might even think about a private plate to shide age as i think she is a keeper (love the drive)
  3. I have owned a vast array of cars from a Vauxhall nova to a 540i e39 but never with a sports exhaust like this and never as noisy
  4. The more I drive the more I am being ti appreciate at the sound...
  5. Thanks for the video, I think it's just my sensitive ears!
  6. It's worse at lower speeds 1st and 2nd, the more I rev the louder it is! Air filter is a k and n and says sealed for life... The outside exhaust sound isn't so bad, some might even like it, it's the noise within the car. I'm no expert but it makes me think the engine is struggling which clearly it isn't!
  7. It's more from within when driving that it's annoying, sounds like revving a lot higher than I am from under the car
  8. Thanks guys! Yes I did well, I am wondering of wrapping the bonnet might be a cheap way to cover the lawyer peeling?
  9. Here's a video of exhaust, may be next to useless lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_6GFbvfEE4 Honda Accord V6 power flow exhaust system sound
  10. Thanks for the info been looking at this model recently, always fancied a legend coupe is there much difference between my Accord coupe?
