Founding Member Cryistic Posted September 12, 2014 Founding Member Report Share Posted September 12, 2014 Mk4 Aerodeck, in pensioner beige for added authenticity. Pretty tidy old thing, 61,000 miles on the clock. Shame about the front wing. You do get a feeling it's hiding some masssive grot patches somewhere.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-HONDA-ACCORD-AERODECK-A-SILVER-ONE-OWNER-FROM-NEW-AND-ONLY-61744-MILES-/251643037029?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a97180565
Administrators hughezee Posted January 23, 2015 Author Administrators Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 1996 2.2L (None VTEC) Accord Aerodeck E.S Auto' FREE TO COLLECTOR. Car has been standing a long while but the guy put a battery on yesterday and it started straight away. Mechanically good, lacquer peeling and bit of rust on one door bottom, interior not great! More details upon request and the car is located in Kent! Owner Rob would prefer someone to make use of it rather than scrap it..
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 23, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 One for the vdm/Jim i think! Even in the right area! If it wasn't red i'd be on my way to get it now!
Administrators hughezee Posted January 23, 2015 Author Administrators Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 These are solid motors I would be very very surprised of any rust underneath, I would go for it myself but I will have 7 cars on my drive by Sunday so think I need to crack on getting things moving
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 23, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 One for every day of the week! And a spare!!!
Founding Member Cryistic Posted January 23, 2015 Founding Member Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 That Aerodeck is a cracking little bargain. I've always liked the way these look, much classier than the equivalent Euro Accord. You cant say you have 7 cars on your Drive with out giving us a full list Stu Pics included obviously!

Founding Member Cryistic Posted January 24, 2015 Founding Member Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 if you would like a "slightly" tidier version of an Aerodeck, this is over on Retrorides - £795 http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/174832/hond-accord-wagon-1995-crewe
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted January 24, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 Too far away for me, even if it wasn't the wrong colour! Price is out of my budget at the moment too - something to do with a £300 bill for welding and MoT on the coupe and buying the new steering rack, track rod ends and ball joints for the Sterling. I did find this little gem though : http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/174518/2000-mgf-green-sussex-yorks Closely followed by this one : http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/174772/mgf-vvc-mot-400-sussex Trouble is both have one pedal too many for me and they're not "true" Honda-derived Rovers but there's still some Honda-DNA present if you look closely! I was passed by a spotless r plate purple 2.2 on the way home last night, such a classy looking car. This one has seen better days mind... Founding Member Mazda Man Posted December 28, 2015 Founding Member Report Share Posted December 28, 2015 Nice, it's very reassuring too when there's loads of paperwork including old tax discs, obviously very well looked after.

Founding Member Cryistic Posted November 21, 2016 Founding Member Report Share Posted November 21, 2016 It would make an excellent Volvo replacement, though the update thread would probably not beas entertaining. I would have actively gone after it if i hadnt been changing to the Lexus soon, I've always wanted an Aerodeck, i love the styling of the rear load space.
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted November 21, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted November 21, 2016 I think i'd miss the V6 though Richie! Besides, i'd probably end up buying a Rover 600 front end and confusing everyone with it!
Administrators hughezee Posted February 22, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted February 22, 2021 These are the first accords I remember when growing up, a regular sight in the school or doctors car park, nice to see one in good condition... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1985-Honda-Accord-automatic-petrol/254873190313? 1
Moderators PTR200S Posted February 22, 2021 Moderators Report Share Posted February 22, 2021 Long time since I have seen one of these, second generation, last of , according to reg designation. Never quite gelled with me, always thought they were too boxy. I had the first gen but skipped the second to go the third gen which looked slicker.
