  2. sorry, just looked at the video and ....ain't heard anything? I had a powerflow back box on my del sol and it sounded like Ferrari , this doesn't sound like a power flow to me?
  3. tell you what I checked out the S7 Dials and there far much better and the background is black and that adds to it, especially in the dark. I had 2 sets I fitted when I had my Del Sol. Whats taking the binnacle out of a Honda coupe like? Edwin
  4. NO Scooby ,its a bit weird, one minute its working then its not...not the relay as Stu sent me a new one, not the fuse checked it, squirted it with wd40,got me stumped.when its a bit drier, im gonna take off the bumper then check them on the battery to see if its not a break in the wire its the horns itself .just a process of elimination....
  5. and what about just a performance back box, any ideas of a good priced one for Honda coupes?
  6. Thanks scooby yes i get it .NO "T" , but i have ordered 100ml syringe and will be starting out with the bit by bit fluid change. I just got my offical honda PSF fluid and shall be extracting the crap outta my resivoir and putting in the good stuff. Thanks again Edwin
  7. HI Scooby Thansk for the heads up, just spoke to STU and i'll be gettin the bumper off (AGAIN!!) and take the horns off and plugg direct to the battery to test, then as you said ,check the fuse (cheap n chearful for sure!!) box. Thoses horns are funky Scooby? so to wire those up i'll have to strip the existing wires and put "spades" on them yes? These would be copmpatible wit the car yes? what do these sound like scooby? Thanks again
  8. HI Guys I spoke too soon....This morning goinbg to work and a situation came up when driving and tried wacking the horn and ......NOTHING !!! so its come back with a vengence...now i've changed the relay, squirted WD40 on the horn contact and around the horn, took bumper off and checked the horn themselves. Any help/clues guys, cos i'm out of answers??? Cheers Edwin
  9. scooby 1st Ive heard of this ? would you do this just for stainless steel exhaust? whats the name of the wrap? im having probs sourcing a good cheap back box "powerflow" type, any clues Scooby? Edwin
  10. Hey Cryistic went to the site and wow its too good to be true ? top makes at discount prices, is the delivery free too? what would advise for tyre size 195/65R15/91H ? would an all weather be preferred? cheers Edwin
  11. Mr Scooby well your right sir, took the plunge after speaking with Stu, took bumper off and did as you said and squirted WD40 in the plugs and bent the horns away from the radiator as it does get hot down there., Stu did send me a new relay and I fitted it and no change it still didn't work, so took the bumper off and squirted the WD40 and now it does work 24/7. Thanks guys
  12. Ok Stu the post I saw was a guy who used a syringe and sucked out the reservoir and then filled back up ,is that right? on wheeler dealers there replaced the reservoir and to bleed it, there refilled and started engine and turned steering wheel from left to right to bleed system. Are you saying I would have to jack the front up and turn wheel left to right. is there a reason for jacking up the front? so if im getting this right ,cysitic sucked some of the fluid and then replaced it with new fluid? so do you suck out half and then replace it with new fluid, is that right ? theres nothing wrong with mine (fluid does look a little dark, don't know when it was changed issue!) , so its not a repair STU.. cheers Edwin
  13. Stu cryistic says he takes some fluid out everyday and then replaces with new fluid is that right? do I have to use Honda power steering fluid or can I use dextron 2 or 3, which is best? didn't know about the foaming bit ??
  14. hi Guys can I use this to change my fluid for my power steering? "STP Power steering fluid 350ml for Dextron 2 or dextron 3? or slick 50 power steering fluid as this one stops leaks in the system? Im gonna use the syringe method of getting the old stuff out, and pour in the good stuff. cheers Edwin
  15. Hi Stu can I ask...can I just get a key cut from my original key? is there a chip in the key? can I buy an additional fob key from the remote doctor and programme it as per the video? what happens if you don't programme it within the times you set out? does that mean it will wipe all the remotes and your buggered to get your car started? a bit nervous in starting and then stumbling and all the remote's get wiped !! Edwin
  16. Hey Stu wheres the fuel filter located mate? is it underneath at the rear? that's looked like it was rusted up there??
  17. Well I started on replacing the front passenger side upper wishbone, sussed out that this was making the knocking noises !! thought I could get the bolts out of the wishbone without taking the shock absorber out....but after a quick phone call to Stu, he advised that I would have to to take it to make life easier for me. And yes he was right those bolts would have never have the clearance to come out.so I managed after using lots of penetrating fluid and the shock came out quite easily. with the shock out the 2 x bolts for the wishbone came out quite quickly .and put the new one in reversal of taking out. bobs your uncle and it was done and NO knocking sounds on the left But there's a slight knocking on the right now ,But that can wait for another day......Stu did ask if I provide some picky, and I answered that cos I was just trying to get the job done that I should get it over asap . Plus I didn't want to get it dirty....But the moral of the story is if in doubt....ask Stu....I thank you....
  18. Nice one Stu,But do I have to take the whole shock out to get to the wishbone bolts? Edwin
  19. yep!yep your right there matey, I've had Ludes,Del Sols and now accord...I shy'd away from accords cos of the oap image it had but now discovering the new gen I;m loving it. And the heated seats are fantastic plus the cruise control is the best invention ever. The engines are bullet proof for sure !! with any car I've had I would always do the basics and as one guy who had been breaking Honda for over 15 years said to me ...do oil changes every 4,000miles and the engines will last forever and he's never been wrong.
  20. well here she is....I cleaned her up and I present my 2.0 coupe 1998,very happy with her and the extra's you get is just for a top end car. The japs do give you more bangs for your buck for sure. tell me what you think? You can also see the new day running lights which I fitted which look very standard plus there double up as indicators as well. Edwin
  21. hi guys. any chance of a fuse box diagrams? cheers Edwin
  22. i'll stick with the contact cleaner as I don't like the idea of the fibreglass fibres floating about, plus I got asthma. cheers guys
