Yes sounds like the same sort of rubbish I had with the surf, I had to have a thatcham cat 1 on it and had to be fully comp. Insurance on the surf 2.4 diesel £600, insurance on the 2.9 cosworth £200 !

Yes mine is working fine I've just noticed quite a few new roads not on it so wouldn't mind an update if it's not to expensive. Do you get insurance loading on this because it's an import? I had a Toyota Hilux Surf years ago and because it was an import the insurance was horrendous, 3 x dearer than the 2.9 Scorpio Cosworth I had before it 😀

What are you using to bore this out with Dave, have you got a lathe or access to one or does it not need that amount of accuracy ?
