  1. Quick update: I managed to get a correct ball joint from a local and established motor store. They got me a Borg & Beck part No: BBJ 5298. ยฃ12.50 +ยฃ10 to a local garage to press it in. ๐Ÿ‘€Bargain ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
  2. Hi, I've had the run around from aftermarket suppliers, hence me asking the question. I didn't realise the ball joint wasn't meant to be replaced, you live and learn,eh. I thank you for your time and knowledge for helping me out here, it is very much appreciated.
  3. I've had an advisory on my MOT for slight play in upper ball joint, off side. I had the ball joint pushed out, but now having a headache getting the right size ball joint. The control arm has S84R stamped on it, which I believe is for V6 model, (mine being a 2.0).Any ideas of the size/make of a definitive ball joint. Please
  4. I think it is a good example, not done many miles before I purchased it. A bit of rust on rear arches, not at all bad.
  5. thanks, pal. hoping to maintain and improve where I can.
  6. I think the location might have something to do with the quieter life, (see first time owners ๐Ÿ˜‰).
  7. Thanks all for the welcome. I believe I'm in the right place for all things accord coupe related.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. Will get some more pix up soon๐Ÿ‘.
  9. This car has definitely grown on me. Will keep an eye out for you pootling around.๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. Hi all, to the H6nda members. I have been the owner of my coupe for some months now. Its a 2.0 IES model. Approaching 94K miles. I have been into VWs ever since I can remember, so i opted for a change of brand. And this got my attention!!! Work carried out so far: new rear drop links, new rear caliper slider pins, (although the items removed were ok), new Eibach springs all round, ( one front spring had fractured, hence the replacement). I found it was cheaper to buy a set than replace two front springs. Honda availability for springs is shocking! And the price...................... New middle and rear section exhaust. New plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap, oil and filter, air filter waiting to go on. New brake pads incoming. New leads and ATF change next month.
