Couple of shots of me removing a 1999 Accord Coupe door card, gain access to door speaker, exterior handle, lock & actuator or the window regulator mechanism ;)

If your struggling to get the door card back on, make sure all cables are clipped back in place and check the internal lock release (pictured above) is lined up with the hole at the top and the card should hang on the edge by the window and should slot down snug ;)

Any questions please ask us

Do you get any draft from around the electric window switches while driving? I have been aware of quite a draft from around my drivers window switches, and I put it down to a poor seal between the door and the film that fits behind the door card.  I have worked on my drivers window regulator a few times and may be guilty of a sloppy job refitting the aforementioned film.

I reckon they are most probably quite generic to Honda - have to go down the local Silverlake sometime and grab one... :)

Wonder what Honda call them ?

Screw cap, ? Cover? Plug? Or, as you say, gromet?

Must be a part number for them

Just found on lings...called a "cap,case."

Two types available at 5 quid each !

Edit

Here honda part numbers

72126sm4003 zn   grey

Same number again suffix with zr gives beige.

Apparently the 2004 Odyssey had them and the accord saloon, US version i guess.

Are those the caps within the door release handle ? If so how much were they if you don’t mind me asking?

Yes they are, I think they were 3.46 each, plus delivery if you aren't picking them up. The invoice is at work. Look on Lings website for them. https://www.lingshondaparts.com/partscatalog/catalog/listing/catalog/hondacars/modelid/417/block/17S8201/blockref/B__5310/ no idea why it's in Euros. Item 13.

Yes, that's right, its the ones I mentioned further up the thread "cap case" but I just quoted the Honda part number not the Lings one, sorry !

Currently showing at 4.61 or 5.15 each depending on colour on the Lings site, £9.22 including tax for the two in grey or £10.30 for the beige version including tax but the postage is £4.50 ???  is that right ??? 😲

regrettably yes, it must have been the other clips that were cheaper. Yes for what they are they are damn expensive but worth it, just. Find a local Honda dealer and pick them up
