  1. Brilliant, glad it's still running well mate Will hopefully catch you at some meets/shows again this year
  2. Sat at my local Honda dealer awaiting my airbag recall on the Type-S Civic, haven't marked it up or anything like Stu but they've said it'll take about an hour πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Got no way of telling if the battery has been taken off either since my clock is integrated with the radio and they're also decoding the radio for me while it's in Lovely place for a dealership though πŸ˜…
  3. πŸ₯³ Exciting times! It will be great to see this car back up and running and loved again, even though i've not exactly poured money into saving it myself I do still have a soft spot for it Hopefully many more happy years for it on the road yet
  4. Welcome mate! Your coupe looks in fantastic condition
  5. If i'm considering going to look at or buying a car, I want every bit of information there is about it! You don't sell anything by hiding parts of it, if there's nothing to hide, there's no reason to cover it πŸ€”
  6. That looks gorgeous! Why do they insist on covering the reg though, can't check the history πŸ™„
  7. Very glad to see it's gone off to a good home πŸ™‚ Enjoy mate and keep the pictures coming of the work and the trips!
  8. Sad times I'm sorry that I can't buy it and give it a good home, i've got so much on with all the cars at the moment and even though i'm hoping to have more space to store them soon all being well 🀞🀞 Money is still an issue as always, can only afford to look after so many I hope it sells to somebody who will love it and enjoy it
  9. I just don't want their to be hard feelings at the end of it, money can be that way for leaving people feeling sour End of the day i'm not out to make money from the Aerodeck and at that price I know Pete's not out to make money out of the v6, I paid over the odds for that Aerodeck so i'll be losing money regardless on the car πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I have spent a considerable amount on a great many upgrades and service items though, to the point where there's very little left needs doing - all of which I can talk you through completely 😁 Best way to do it would probably to just meet up with the cars? I don't mind the trip in the 'deck, the downside being that it's in dry storage until march 1st Mostly i'm picky about MOT history, could even say superstitious. I have a rule not to buy cars with incomplete or messy MOT histories, mostly out of preference more than worry as you can usually figure out what happened to make the inconsistencies - also it's a good deterrent for me wanting to buy every nice car I see πŸ˜‚ The only car i've bought with an incomplete MOT history was the car that threw its timing belt after 300 miles, KOV. Went against my own personal rule to buy that car and that happened, which since then has just had me double down on that rule. I've seen several v6's among other cars that i've been tempted by since but I always take that as my sign not to go for one, call it crazy but its seemed to be the case that all of them have had gaps or inconsistencies in the history so I made the call not to go for them πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Last year my Civic had an MOT cock up as well, which at the time really upset me and still bothers me today even though most people wouldn't care less - it had a double MOT in 2023, passed both times but they were within a month of eachother because one shouldn't have been done. Same with my crown vic, because of me being slow getting around to doing stuff it will now show a failed MOT in 2023 and no subsequent pass until 2024, something which will now forever bother me about it
  10. Are you actually wanting another car to replace it though πŸ€” Is it just down to the coupe not being the most practical that you're letting it go? I wouldn't be opposed to negotiating a swap at all, although without trying to sound like a tyre kicker i'm quite picky with what I want from a coupe, just because of having wanted a v6 forever i've got an extensive list of hopes and dreams now πŸ˜‚ I don't want you to think im being difficult about it and messing you about if I didnt go through with it ☹️
  11. The red 2.0LS manual, with the front fogs and roof rails
  12. Indeed! If I could shift the newest Aerodeck quickly i'd consider the swap for this, but I doubt I can get anything like what i've spent back and get it sold in time ☹️ A real shame you've got to sell it mate, hopefully it goes to somebody who will continue to take good care and keep it going 🀞
  13. Welcome mate! Many Elysion owners on here now, you're in the right place πŸ˜ƒ
  14. Maybe, but he's probably the only one I really watch that would take it on πŸ˜• Plus he's got a decent enough size following that i'd be confident in it finding a new owner to continue looking after and enjoying it, was my main thought πŸ€”
  15. Watched it last night, a shame that its going for scrap ☹️ It has made me kinda want a shuttle though, love the column shift πŸ˜‚ Thinking of offering him my green Aerodeck for his trading up series, let him spruce it up a bit and hopefully pass it on to somebody who'd appreciate it and keep using it πŸ€”
  16. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202312024502175 What a gorgeous kept car... 😍
  17. Noo, certainly not as marked units Not the worst replica i've ever seen apart from the daft lights on the front, even looks like the correct lightbar for LAPD πŸ€” If you ever want a good gritty TV drama/police procedural to watch about LAPD, give Southland a watch πŸ‘
  18. It's not the worst replica i've ever seen, but I do question people's motives at times πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚
  19. I'm trying to convince myself it's a bad idea to just pay what needs to be paid to fix it and use it again, especially after the battering my Civic has taken this past couple of weeks ☹️ It won't take much fixing for somebody who know what they're doing I reckon, going to inquire a price estimate when I take the red Civic for its inspection - if they reckon they can sort it for £500 or less I may just bite the bullet myself
  20. What a machine, makes me want another one even more πŸ˜–
  21. Front fogs! I love a car with front fogs 😁 Looks like a great find mate, hopefully many happy miles ahead! Some of the places I use for parts, mostly handy if you've got part numbers: Amayama (Japan): https://www.amayama.com/en Lings Honda (UK): https://hondaspareparts.co.uk/ Cox Motor Parts (UK): https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/
  22. A real shame but hopefully it'll be cared for and enjoyed by somebody new I've been having some regrets about some of the cars i've let go in recent years for the exact reason Stu put above - will never find one's like them again, sometimes though it's the sensible choice that has to prevail I'm glad to hear you've managed to find a home for it at least mate
  23. @PTR200S - If you're genuinely looking for a winter hack mate, i'd love to see this car kept alive - needs a bit spending to get it through MOT as you can see in my first post but it's all known issues so to speak It's only going to get broken up for parts otherwise
