  3. lol my in car cassette stereo had autoreverse. when I was first driving.
  4. Welcome, great bunch of people on here.
  5. I could be wrong and perhaps Stu or Dave might point me in the right direction. To me rustproofing extends the life of the car against corrosion and you may have to re rustproof your car in five or ten years later. Without being too technical and being limited knowledge on chemicals and natural reactions, but water, air and any kind of metal will always have a reaction converting everything it can back to iron ore. Unless you put the car in a museum or a place without any humidity the car will always be prone to kind of rust. On the plus side I always annually check for rust or anything that could start a reaction to cause rust, will always be a battle lol but on a good thing.
  6. Wished I had my v6 with me and had time to talk to him.
  7. A lovely emerald green 2.0ltr coupe in Norwich today at around 3.00pm
  8. Going to rust proof my coupe within the next few weeks with Dinitrol products and going to post up some pics as I do it. Does anyone have any tips, I was thinking, plastic sheeting on the garage floor, start on the underneath followed by striping out some of the interior for those hard to reach places and then removing rear bumper to access other hard to reach places. I have done a quick check on water drainage points already and they are clear at bottom of the windscreen, sunroof areas and bottom of both doors. The car has no rust anywhere and that's great for a 17-year-old car.
  9. I expect to see on the front cover of Fast Car magazine and semi naked model on the bonnet of you car matey.
  10. I'm with you Geoff, I would want lovely ladies with out going personalities handing you the keys. I can hear in my head now 'snoop doggy dog ......' lol
  11. That's right and I've met some very nice people in person and over the phone or facebook. Very nice community here.
  12. Although if I had a spare V6 I would add all the modifications I could with sound, ride height, performance etc etc. Probably like Stu's car, which I think is a very very nice car and I take my hat off to my friend Stu for that.
  13. Nah, I'm going to keep mine original Dave. I'm happy with my ride. Did look good tho on Stu's car, I was impressed. With my V6 it's all about originality with the odd improvement here and there for engine breathing and sound and a little more. I'm going to see what happens with Stu's car on the life of the springs he has fitted. I did have adjustable spax ones on my MGB GT but I hardly ever altered them for ride height or comfort as the drive was comfortable like my lovely V6. I'm on the fence with this one.
  14. Changed my fluid this week as shown by Stu last week and all I can say is cheers Stu for the advice and what to get, took me minutes to change and with no mess too. Cheers buddy.
  15. I remember seeing your car last week Stu, and got to admit it looked good being slightly lowered.
