Interesting article on how the costs sit now...

The humdinger is the cost at the public charge points....many councils now charge for the electric...and so they should, we don't get free fuel do we ??

Why should the EV scam be supported by the rest of us??

They get discounts from the government to buy one, pay reduced business tax , don't pay ved (yet) get charging points installed in carparks, business and other locations where the ICE cars get nothing...now they want the 20% vat reducing at public charge points and yet the energy companies allow them to charge a 5p per kw whilst at home...   all subsidies paid for by the rest of the community to satisfy the minority yet again.

Just because they have considerably more money than sense and can afford to buy a BEV, why should the rest of us (relatively) normal people subsidise them? Tehy want to be Flash Harry (or Harriet) then they can pay, same as the rest of us have to!
