Moderators PTR200S Posted August 26, 2020 Moderators Report Share Posted August 26, 2020 I was looking with interest at the Russian conversion but it would seem that all is not well with a few of the owners ....its geared for the Russian market at present it seems. A lot of people have just "glued" an appropriate sat nav unit to the existing one, use their phones for music and other stuff. Mine? I have a "UK" unit and dashboard conversion that was available a couple of years back, as st123 says part nos and other stuff on this topic on here. I still haven't figured out the volume controls connection on the steering wheel and to be honest am not that bothered as there is touch control on the unit anyway. The big thing to watch for is taking the dash out, if you intend to change the complete head unit. The "wood" effect bit is VERY fragile.

Hopefully it gets here this side of Xmas! Oops, i said THAT word!
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted August 28, 2020 Moderators Report Share Posted August 28, 2020 After chasing the Steering Wheel Control (SWC) adaptor i mentioned above, they said it was despatched nearly a month ago and they couldn't send a replacement as it was obsolete. They refunded me so i contacted Autoleads via email, explained the situation and asked for their help/advice. They suggested one of two options, either a UNI-SWC.5 or https://catalog.autoleads.co.uk/catalog/steering-wheel-control-adaptors-cp2/cp2-uni one of those. Looking on their database of cars, they list a lot of Hondas we don't get here but strangely not the Elysion (was it a JDM only vehicle?) but it would seem the CP2 would fit the bill for that. Check their website to confirm or maybe if someone could find out if the Ely uses a resistive (analogue) set of buttons on the steering wheel or the exact protocol if it's CANBus you should be able to find something suitable. I was lucky and found a CP2 on fleabay and hit the button to Buy It Now, hopefully it'll do what i need it to! Meanwhile those two options are worth looking at for the Ely! welland99
I've seen photos of coupes with steering wheel audio controls, but was of the opinion that they were wireless. Mine didn't have this feature, does anybody else?

Wired resistive if this link is to be believed : https://catalog.autoleads.co.uk/?fc=module&module=aampsearchbyvehicle&controller=results&aamp-sbv-region=2&aamp-sbv-make=74&aamp-sbv-model=ACCORD&aamp-sbv-year=17746&aamp-sbv-trim=22685&aamp-sbv-submit= For 1998 Accord Coupe, CG chassis code so should cover both the 2.0 and 3.0 models.
