Honda spent a lot of time and money tuning the intake and exhaust systems to match the VTEC inside the engine and if you replace what Honda created with a cone type filter, you alter the tuned length of the induction system. That means you alter the entire tuning of the engine and exhaust system too. Worst case scenario, noisy, thirsty and gutless.
