Site Subscriber’s Josh98 Posted November 1, 2023 Site Subscriber’s Report Share Posted November 1, 2023 Ey up folks, Before I put it on ebay and start to break it for parts properly, I wanted to see if anybody was interested enough to save the mighty green 'deck. In case you didn't see the MOT thread, it's an MOT fail but not really for anything major, i'm just not the person to spend the money on this car to keep it going. A few other things to note - it has rot on one of the rear arches, nothing unfixable though and the underside is still actually very good! I also reckon it'll need a new clutch before long, however it's still drivable and I was planning to use it this year 🤷♂️ Currently sat at 166,480 miles, still runs absolutely fine. I've ran it on exclusively E5 for 3 years. I'm asking £500, which will include an exhaust rear section and a set of 4 tyres which will take care of a few of those MOT fail points. I'm only offering it for sale on here so if anybody takes it, i'll give the interior a proper good clean out and sort everything as nice as I can for you! Also if you want me to get it MOT'd and sorted i'm happy to with cost of the work added on to the asking price, I use a Lexus specialist local to me who's very competent, actually appreciates these old cars and has also worked for Honda in the past (Doesn't come with hi-vis jacket 😄) (Does come with half a tank of the finest Costco E5/Shell Vpower blend) I'd love to see somebody keep this car going honestly, it seems to want to live! If you want any more pictures of anything let me know, if you want to come and have a look first then there's a cup of tea/coffee or two on offer as well 👍 2

Site Subscriber’s Josh98 Posted November 25, 2023 Author Site Subscriber’s Report Share Posted November 25, 2023 @PTR200S - If you're genuinely looking for a winter hack mate, i'd love to see this car kept alive - needs a bit spending to get it through MOT as you can see in my first post but it's all known issues so to speak It's only going to get broken up for parts otherwise
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted December 2, 2023 Moderators Report Share Posted December 2, 2023 If it was a 2.2 auto i'd probably be biting your hands off for a deal - my favourite colour on this gen. Hope someone takes it on, still plenty of life left in the wee beastie!

Administrators hughezee Posted April 23 Administrators Report Share Posted April 23 Looks like this motor will eventually be heading to H6 HQ to be saved and my mother will be having it following her retirement. This motor will be replacing her current 2007 civic and 2001 accord sport too...

It will be great to see this car back up and running and loved again, even though i've not exactly poured money into saving it myself I do still have a soft spot for it Hopefully many more happy years for it on the road yet 2
