Site Subscriber’s RevvinKevin Posted July 26, 2023 Site Subscriber’s Report Share Posted July 26, 2023 About a week ago, jumped in my KB1 Legend, 1st thing, started it and hit the rear window/mirrors heater switch, immediately interfering with the FM station(s). Sounds like REALLY bad static noise. Never happened before in my 2 years of ownership. It's not an isolated case either as it happens every time and the FM is impossible to listen to when the heater switch is on. Any ideas where I should be looking for the cause? The switch? Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted July 26, 2023 Moderators Report Share Posted July 26, 2023 Sounds like the aerial amp to me, on the KA1 and Rover 800 this was centrally mounted on the underside of the rear parcel shelf, daresay it's in the same position (or near) on the KB1 as it supplies power to the HRW and also uses the HRW element as the aerial.
