Fuel and EV only charge stations

such price hikes were bound to happen - putting in these chargers everywhere costs money  (which needs to be recouped) even if the cable / electricity supply is good.... 

Just wait until the roads have to be dug up to lay new high capacity electricity cables from the new substations fed from the new power stations....

I wonder how many people will falter at the cost of running these "efficient" / green cars and start buying from old car auctions....

Whilst out and about I came across a 50kw charger in a pub carpark.

Run by some company called Osprey the cost was an eye-watering £1 per kw !!!!.....which gets around 3 or 4 miles of travel.....

Cheaper to run a diesel by a long way ...and still cheaper to run petrol too !!!
