Administrators hughezee Posted June 24, 2019 Administrators Report Share Posted June 24, 2019 Most of us know the J-Series is found in many different Honda's and as some members have found out not all parts are interchangeable either. So to avoid any confusion I have listed a selection to choose from, although I would give the champion ones a miss personally...🤢🤮 Denso SKJ20DRM11 Denso SKJ20DR-M11 Denso 267700-0910 Denso Iridium IK20L NGK 6994 NGK IZFR6K-11 NGK IZFR6K11 NGK STK 6994 Honda 9807B-5615W Honda 9807B-5617W Honda 9807B-561BW Honda 12290-PNA-0040 Honda 12290-PND-A020M Champion 9812 Champion OE179 Champion OE146 Champion OE193 Champion RC8WYP4 Champion RC8ZWYPB4 Autolite XP5224 Beru 0002345906 Beru 14FR-5LPU0X Beru 14FR-7LPUX0 Beru Z297 Beru Z354 Brisk P1 Torch ZFR6TIP-11
Moderators PTR200S Posted June 25, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted June 25, 2019 Cox Honda will supply the genuine " Honda " plug , V6 is about £120 !!!! For six of course. 2.4 version about 80 quid if I recall. I used NGK versions IZFR6K-11 at about 90 quid for the six..

Administrators hughezee Posted June 25, 2019 Administrators Report Share Posted June 25, 2019 Why not go for the Denso Iridium plugs, just as good if not better IMO and euro car parts sell them ECP number: 408990460 Free delivery (normally) car parts 4 less using the same number? 3

Administrators hughezee Posted June 25, 2019 Administrators Report Share Posted June 25, 2019 I used the NGK Iridium's in my coupe for a few years paid about £50 (at the time) and they performed great and moved on to the Denso TT's virtually nothing in it, although fitted plenty of the Denso iridiums and zero issues to report from customers both NGK & Denso are my prefered choices...

Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted June 25, 2019 Moderators Report Share Posted June 25, 2019 Only come across them a handful of times Stu, every time they had similar symptoms to Champions. Someone since then referred to them as the USA answer to Champion so that kind of agrees with what i found. 1

Espace X
I've just ordered a set of DENSO IK16TT IRIDIUM TT from ebay £60 delivered for 6 plugs not bad.
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted November 27, 2023 Moderators Report Share Posted November 27, 2023 A tenner a plug - not bad for Iridium. I've never been sure of Iridium plugs, especially in an alloy head. They're good for ~100k miles so only get moved once in that mileage, worries me about them "welding themselves" into the head. Then you have the opposite argument of the threads being damaged by removing/refitting "normal" plugs every 10k miles........... Jury is still out for me, for the time being at least.
