  1. Yeah was 3 n I had to slackened it all off to get the new pads on the new discs
  2. I think when I had to readjust the hand brake cable it might have cured it as it was only pulling 1 caliper really lol
  3. Isn't the legend a longitudinal mounted c35a? Can that still mate up to the j30 transverse gearbox? Iirc The later gen accord coupes is the j35 transverse but you'll need to import that engine as I don't think they were ever sold here

Yeah that's the thing I couldn't tell as it was seized open not on to the disc so it wasn't getting hot and as I'm on my own I couldn't hold the brakes on and turn the rear wheels to check but when I decided to take it all apart I found out the pot was seized in the caliper. The light issue was sorted after some refurbed calipers and new discs pads and fluid
  5. You guys might want to check this engine build out it's a j30 with j32 heads and valve train mods and a manual 6spd with turbo kit the bottom end is stock and it has over 750bhp
  6. So in response to this it was a seized caliper the causing my issue

Ok after reading this thread it seems the best option is to ship in some us coilovers with adjustable dampers as I want to go alot lower (about 70mm) I'm not worried about rubbing as I'll be cutting the arches and fitting flares and spacers at the same time. dose anyone have a set they would recommend? Or shall I just suck it and see
  8. Its my only transport so im walking everywhere at the moment was ment to have its mot today but thats on hold now till who knows when
  9. Ive found some replacement calipers from a breaker just gotta order some it took me hours just to get the old ones off but now i cant get my damaged hose off grrr. everthing is corroded on the car apart from the body lol

Ive found this out the hard way after a lengthy journey my rear pads delaminated and started to grind on the disc so i had a look when i got home and ordered new discs and pads and found that every bolt had been rounded off by the previous owner or mechanic so now im left trying to find replacement calipers or carriers at the very least even the hose union is rounded off total nightmare
  11. Just a little update on bits done too the coupe . Im getting him ready for the japshow at beaulieu motor museum on the 31st of july. Also sorry geoff ive not even started on the vinyl designs been having major tecnical difficulties untill recent but ill give it a go soon.
  12. I shall check my pad levels and fluid n see if my calipers are sticking but im thinking its a sensor fault as ive not done anything to my brakes but they work fine cheers for the advice guys
  13. Hi all Just a quick question when ive ben driving for a few mins my hand brake light and brake light warning on my dash comes up but its intermittent some times it wont even do it but all my rear lights are working and my hand brake is defo released any ideas?

  17. Id just like to say project break is saving my v6 coupe n if you have a passenger inner door handle mechanism as mines be broke a while cant get out once in lol drive my miss's crazy lol

  21. Cheers guys i had to us a leaver bar n a a large hammer to pull the inner n outer wing out to a better state
  22. Shes drivable n looking better just need a wing n bumper clips n an indicater bulb holder
