Honda Elysion Radio Intermittent Fault

My elysion radio and nav sometimes does not switch on...especially when its hot and or I have run the engine..what could be the cause of that? If the engine is cold and or its cold outside, it always switches on.

Sounds supsiciouly like dry joints in the radio and/or it's control unit. Could be other things that cause it though, also worth checking the earth points near the radio and other things for corrosion - does the radio alter its behaviour if you have other things switched on?

It will be the usual dry joint problem,  as Laird_Scooby says, these Elysion units are  prone to dying like that 🙄
