Some ugly fekers to be sure , bit like some of the ugly cars that are seemingly crowding the market place, but the bike market has to get better as all internal combustion engine bikes are also on the 2030 chopping block.

The Harley Davidson Livewire is one of the better ones plus the "Zero" bike company has some interesting stuff like the Zero S/RF...lots of scooters in this market too, easily hidden batteries and aimed at the casual rider / commuter.

The auto is king too, just like the cars, not sure I could live with that BUT they are fast with a capital FF !!!

Like the cars they are really expensive compared with their ICE counterparts, £15 grand plus, 200 mile range average, 1.5 hours recharge, really cheap to run.....

2.6 seconds 0-60 , how does that sound !!

Check this out !

Looks a useful commuter bike, ideal for people who would normally have bought a petrol but want to wave their (allegedly) green credentials around in the office.

Being Chinese though, will you want another 2 hours later and errr................... "You wan' sore finger wi' tha'?"

The Triumph TE 1 is ready for testing apparently.

Been some time since any info been put out but looks good with around 170bhp and 220kg.

120 mile range is not enough really, small tank of fuel range with no ability to fast refill of a few minutes like petrol...difficult if you are out on a Sunday  run !!!

Batteries and associated stuff have Williams Advanced Engineering hands all over them so should be good....except the range of course but which is better than most EM !!

The main point us it actually looks like a "real" motorcycle,  not some futuristic cartoon superhero bike !!

I see Integral Powertrain are involved too - i wonder if that's the same Powertrain that used to be part of BL and latterly Rover Group, rebranded after being hived off by BMW? If so, expect it to also leak oil, like a proper British bike should! :P
