Lumpy
Would I be right in thinking the electrically operated drivers seat doesn't slide forwards when tilting like the manual passenger one?
Jon
I think you are right. I try to load rear seat passengers on the left because it takes too long to move and with no memory never goes back to my sweet spot.
Lumpy
thank goodness for that ☺️ I didn't think it could, it was a real struggle trying to get my grandkids strapped in today from the drivers side and second time in we did it from the passenger side. Oh how I miss my memory seat position from the 7 ☹️
Administrators hughezee Posted December 16, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted December 16, 2018 The driver's seat is all powered so letting your passengers into the rear via the passenger seat is the best option and I think Honda's logic is right making the driver as comfortable as possible and passengers an afterthought but if passengers became a priority you purchased a four-door option.
Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted December 17, 2018 Moderators Report Share Posted December 17, 2018 Every coupe i've ever known has made access easier from the passenger side. I think the theory was originally that passengers can't get in without the driver being present and with that in mind, the driver must also be seated and ready to fly. 2

My 7 series was great for that. If I wanted a 4 door I would get another E38 I expect.

Founding Member AhsyV6 Posted January 5, 2019 Founding Member Report Share Posted January 5, 2019 What Stu and Dave said. I put my boys Car Seat in through the passenger side as it won’t fit through the drivers side. Also the rear seat belt behind the drivers seat it shorter than rear passenger side.
Lumpy
Both have to go through the passenger side. It's a pain strapping them in 1
