Graymalkin
I'm new here. Hi to all. I currently own a Peugeot 406 coupe. I have to say I love it. But looking for something different. Have seen a 2.0 es accord coupe. Low mileage for the year (2000) I was wondering what to look for? Common faults? When is cambelt change due? Cheers richard
Administrators hughezee Posted September 19, 2015 Administrators Report Share Posted September 19, 2015 Hi Richard and welcome to the club and since you've posted twice I have moved the other post to the 1998 - 2002 Honda Accord Coupe 2.0 & 3.0 section for a better response

Moderators Laird_Scooby Posted September 20, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hi Richard and welcome aboard! My internet has been playing up lately hence the delay in welcoming you but a 2.0 ES is a good choice of car. Depending how old a car you're looking at, you might also consider the 2.2 ES although most of those are either very rough these days (and cheap) or very nice (and expensive!) with not much middle ground. If you are looking at newer (T reg ish onwards) then the choice opens up considerably and the difference between a rough and an excellent example is less but the overall price is higher than the 93-98 Accord Coupes. Here's a link to a few on ebay to get you started if that 2.0ES you've been looking at escapes you somehow.http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2060353.m570.l1313.TR11.TRC1.A0.H0.Xaccord+coupe.TRS0&_nkw=accord+coupe&_sacat=0 I also think technology is getting out of hand these days, hence running 20-22 year old cars!
