  1. Yes, that's the one I read. Looks like they slide in sideways, upright, from left to right behind the dash? Unless I'm reading it incorrectly. Still wake up at night sometimes, thinking about the 9-5s...
  2. I should add that without this list I would have ended up with some wrong items. I don't mean ordering the S2000 filter rather than the standard but for instance the ATF washer suggested by the dealer was a completely different size. This isn't the first time I've had to specify a part rather than going on what the dealer fetches up based on my reg no. It appears they have an issue locating the 3.0 so items default to the 2.0
  3. There's a little in there but doesn't warrant a change. I've seen a lot worse. How about the pollen filter in my 9-3? 🤢 I'm steeling myself for the pollen filter in the Honda because from the guide it looks very much like the fitment on my old 9-5s and they were a cow to do!
  4. What horrors lie beneath? I'm almost disappointed
  5. Cheers Hugh (or I get the feeling it might be Stu?), that would be appreciated. Dealer part is in Belgium again and Amayama takes an age. Let me know how you wish to proceed.
  6. Soldering iron? God no! Already looking on Amayama before I speak to the dealer. Updated part number appears to be 39400-S84-003
  7. Thanks for that. Happened again this afternoon after I'd washed it. Problem was it was blocking in every other vehicle I own at the time! Waited half an hour and it was fine. I was coming down on it being a fuelling issue but I was thinking more filter or pump so I'll look into this relay.
  8. Thank you! No pain with changing them. No wires and a quarter turn and they're out. Picked one of them up from the dealer today (35861S84T01) so that's the top one which I assume based on its position is for the cruise on/off light. But I notice the base is dark green so it looks like someone has had a fiddle with these before. The other bulb is in Belgium apparently Didn't get chance to touch the ATF this weekend so I'm consoling myself with this major bit of work. Couple of other things while I've got you all. I am experiencing an occasional warm/hot start problem. If the engine catches it stumbles and then stalls. A press, hold, release of the accelerator and then start seems to sort it. Or that could have been sheer coincidence. Any thoughts? Also there's quite a bit of play in the position the wipers come to rest. You can see from my first pics that they sit quite high but can be easily moved back into a better parked position. Next time they're used they park at the higher position again. Worn linkage of some sort? Any experience of this one. Other than that everything is good. I've been driving it all weekend and it really does seem to like fast A roads. Not so happy pootling around town. My children obviously hate it because it's too old, not got enough doors or touchscreen gadgets and occasionally doesn't start. And I'm pretty sure my wife still hasn't noticed. Or she has and it's simply an indication of her level of interest in my little hobbies. Oh and a dark blue Legend (KB1?) drove past me as I left Honda Sheffield.
  9. All the info really is here isn't it? I'm ashamed... Common-ish problem with the V6 Lexus such as the RX400h. Fronts done but the back 3 left because it's too much like hard work.
  10. I'll call the dealer tomorrow. They'll probably lift my leg but I'll know they're correct. And no doubt I could find them cheaper online but factor in postage and waiting I'd rather go the dealer route. I've got to speak to them about the airbag recall anyway. In other news, I started on getting the interior up to scratch and it's scrubbing up nicely. Still some work to do though. And the ATF arrives tomorrow from Opie so you never know, might get round to that at the weekend. Could probably do with changing the plugs too. Any recommendations? I got it insured today too. £150 for 2k miles a year on a classic policy from RH Insurance. Quite pleased with that. More as I get it...
  11. I'm an idiot. The info is all up there ☝️ in the link posted by @PTR200S I'm blaming the Bank Holiday overindulgence.
  12. Re: the cruise button. On further investigation it appears the regular illumination (lights on) doesn't work either. I've popped the switch out and I'm confronted with these two bulbs. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two (I assume the colour of the base is significant) and the wattage? Apologies for the fairly obvious question but I meant to check while I had it out and then work got in the way. And I've never bough dash switch bulbs before.
  13. Ordered 3 "quarts" of the Amsoil stuff. Should come from Opie Wednesday so I'll try and do a drain and fill this week.
  14. Oh, have another pic. (Apologies for the rear wheels. I'd just dropped the back end down)
  15. Gave mine a wash so I could see all the scratches a little better and checked the condition of the ATF. Not as bad as I feared. While washing I also spotted that the rear Hankook directional tyres had been put on the wrong sides so swapped the wheels round. If I can get a pass I'll make a start on tidying the interior tomorrow or Monday.
  16. Had a chance to check the fluid today as I was tucking the car away for a few days. The picture makes it look darker than it is but I was pleasantly surprised to find the fluid quite light in colour. Certainly not red but a red-ish brown. Thankfully not at all like the terminal or neglected pics in Hugh's Change Your ATF! thread.
  17. Thanks for that. Re: the gearbox. Reading the various threads and stickies the recommended fluid is not the Honda stuff but Carlube or Amsoil but changing at all depends very much on the current condition/colour of what's in? Have I got that right? Based on the PO's recent service it's pretty much the only thing I'm concerned about. That's not to say I won't do other fluids, plugs, filters etc sooner rather than later but usually I'm straight on them. They don't seem quite so pressing with this car.
  18. Does the button pop out or do I need to take the panel off?
  19. I guess I'll never know
  20. Certainly did. About ten or fifteen miles of country lanes then a run on the motorway, cruise set, back to not so sunny Sheff. Only problem I've found so far is the light on the Cruise button doesn't work.
  21. Just got back to Sheffield with the Coupe and first impressions are overwhelmingly positive. Must make a note to buy cars off ex-racing drivers more often. More info to follow...
  22. Reviving an old post, this is the one I tried to buy last year. Tried being the operative word here. The seller was... difficult
