On 29th of May (quick update Ike, well done 🤦‍♂️) I had to drive through the glorious city of London and when leaving late at night I spotted a white Elysion parked right next to north circular. It was somewhere in the eastern part of the road, no precise location or plate as it was super late, and I was driving for like 14 hours at that time. I have almost broken my neck. It's the third Ely I saw in the wild ❤️

Hi All Last week our Elysion developed..an error? I have a grey bar across the screen saying 'Please inser the program disk'. (I have a photo of it, but this description is really enough as the photo will not bring anything to the table) Nothing else displays on the screen besides rear view camera - IF the screen will turn on at all (as it had and still has its moods) Firstly, does anyone have said disc or image of it to share? Secondly, maybe I should leverage this opportunity to replace the head unit entirely? Thanks in advance

Some of you might remember that our Elysion had a horrible looking bonnet. I don't know where the previous owner was driving and why did he decide to 'repair' it this way, but it looks like a victim of a nasty case of chicken pox. When we finally decide what do we want to do with it, we did. I am aware it will not be for everyone taste, but you know, you do you Yes it has a '3D effect', yes it was coated with protection. If you are curious, we plan to make a total overhaul in the unforeseeable future, but we wanted something to be done about it now. I will report on the progress later, as we are not done yet. Additionally, I re-attached the grill. A few weeks ago, I opened a thread asking how to deal with a damaged grill as the mounting points were mostly broken and thanks to @PTR200S and other contributors (THANK YOU! 👏) I figure out what to use and how to re-attach it. So far, so good, will report if it works in the long run after some driving I have to do in upcoming days. Hopefully I will inspire some of you to be brave, love your car and make it your own - even when it can be polarising. Cheers!

Thank you for the diagram. Unfortunately, mounting points on the grill are mostly broken. 2 are in working condition, third I can reconstruct using a part of it I have. After considering my option, I decided to try to rescue the one I can, which will safely attach the 'top' part. For the bottom I will use rubber grommets glued to the grill which with a bit of luck will nicely set in existing holes in the bonnet. Will report when it will be done. As an additional treat I found a video I took when I've taken the grill off couple of weeks ago. It has a Polish narrative which essentially can be summed up as: Look here, chap, look how they put this together. It's a living proof that shed repairs just to make it work for the time of the sale process are common in England as well. Plus some more unfunny rubbish - just mute it for your own sake. Indeed, the mounting points are damaged. Didn't want to take it off yet again to avoid further destruction before I'll figure out some kind of a solution. Hi all My adventures of sorting out issues with my Lisa continue. Bonnet on my car was in mediocre condition when I bought it and it went worse since. We decided to paint it, however we please as it is not the last visual overhaul this car will have and currently it looks sad. Unfortunately I discovered that the strangely looking front grill we have isn't looking like this because of the plastic clips underneath, but because that someone damaged the mounting points that those clips are suppose to go into. Currently it is barely holding on two out of 11 spots and I want to fix it before we will lose the entire thing. Can someone point me out to some kind of instruction, proven method or clever solution of figuring out new mounting points? The only alternative seems to be a new grill but it is a significant cost which I would prefer to avoid atm... How it currently looks. Alrighty then. A little update is due. Firstly, I polished headlamps using lovely weather here this weekend. The difference isn't huge, but it's clearly visible. Secondly, I 'fixed' the windscreen washers. I managed to replace the tri-connector (set of them, including additional piping, cost me around 7 pounds), so I regain the spray. Unfortunately, the pressure is miserable. On the back window it is fine, but front windscreen washers definitely work worse than in the past. As the pump is working, and I do not have any leaks now, does anyone have an idea where to look next?

Yes, of course, I didn't have anti-freeze in the reservoir. I just cut corner, I meant the winter screenwash fluid. It was only a theory anyway and to be honest, doesn't really matter. What does, is the fact, that I will have a windscreen washing system working again ❤️

As I have a lot on my plate now I replaced the fuse and will see how long will it take for it to die, then I will do the test procedure as you recommend @PTR200S. Doors are now fine, I realised that if the car is not used for a week (very rarely, but it does happen) then they need a few runs to not stutter. This time, they need like 3 open-close-open-close actions to start working normally. I did not use any WD40 - much appreciate the advice. Funny thing with the windscreen washer. The 3-way connector under the plastic cover was completely gone. Can take a picture if you want. Probably, the winter period caused the anti-freeze to dissolve it. I have never seen anything like that. New ones are on their way with some plastic clips as I managed to broke two of them. Everything available on Amazon in bundles. Headlamp polishing and a proper cleaning had to wait, courtesy of rainy Sunday.

Oh my, thank you all for responses. Firstly, no wd40, I rather listen than be sorry. Battery is less than 6mths old, so it can't be it. Long runs are frequent fortunately. I believe Lights insight have original bulbs, but will have a look. I much appreciate all of you! Will report after the weekend.
