  1. I see, so while the body work is you could say vastly different, it's not a different model but just trim with ... different panels. What a curiosity that is I will take off the wheel and post a pic at some point, maybe even today. Of course just to compare and I can take some measurements. But it sounds doable! Thank you!
  2. Hi I've contacted Watling to see if they can confirm this will fit Elysion Prestige. I got a response that they weren't aware of this particular model and to check fitting based on the instructions they have. Do we know if the undercarriage is the same for Prestige? I assume perhaps removing the spare wheel and checking the placement of holes would be the best course of action.
  3. Even if I can’t let them know before we go for our trip, they’ve offered to do a free alignment once I have the parameters, so if you can share those it would still be great. Should I assume that most people here have their alignment done ‘as good as it can be’ without the garages having the proper specifications? It can’t be that Swindon is so far behind that big names don’t have those at hand 🤣
  4. Does anyone have the correct parameters for setting up tracking in a 3.5 Elysion Prestige? Mine's pulling to the left after new tyres were fitted. First garage gave up as their system has not details for that car. ATS is doing really well in that they researched and can adjust it so that it's 'better' but without the parameters can't get it done exactly right.
  5. So when I bought my Elysion Prestige the seller mentioned ripping CDs to a Hard Drive function. After looking through the manual I found steps to enable that, but when using the Navi system the option to do so wasn't showing up. You should be able to access the Sound Container settings by pressing down on joystick while in CD playback. Mine only had those 4 options, nothing related to SC. Or you can have the 2 extra options, but they won't be 'selectable' despite showing Checking the drive first I took the drive out partly to see if a) the drive was there b) the drive was not dead c) any formatting issues Taking the drive out is very simple. Torx-8 screw is required. While the drive is out, the Sat Nav or Audio won't work until you attach the front cover (which has a metal plate on the back). So even if the drive is taken out you can screw in the cover and the unit will work, although reporting a missing drive. So the drive was showing as non-formatted, which gave me an idea that there must be a way to initialise it from the unit itself. Turns out even once the drive was working Windows doesn't recognise the file system or the boot record so it shows unitilialised. However, with that idea I went to YT to see how someone does an initialisation on an american Odyssey in English. At least I knew there is such option, now we just need to find it. At least I knew the drive is not faulty Sound Container Initialisation So drive and cover went back in. First off, the maintenance mode. After getting on the 'Current location', press MAP, MENU and DISPLAY buttons. You'll see this: Press down on the joystick to bring up the other menu and select the "SC Initialisation" option. It will be followed by 2 warnings, the right option twice to cofirm. The system will start formatting. Do not turn off the key into OFF positon (kept mine in the ACCESSORY position all the time. Once the system reboots, you should have the two options available on the CD playback, after pressing down on joystick. (2 bottom righ options, below REPEAT) I'll post the config for the Sound Container recording mode later on.
  6. Just for reference, this turned out to be an electrical 'fault' as the 15 Amps fuse was inserted in an incorrect slot. After addressing that, TV works a treat. DVDs have to be Region 2 (Europe just as Japan is Region 2), but .... need to be NTSC coded (unit just spits out a PAL coded DVD). So your regular DVD won't work. I've recorded some of my kids cartoons onto a DVD using free WinX DVD Author, selecting NTSC format, and the unit now recognised them and works fine.
  7. Next challenge. Trying to figure out why the Sound Container function doesn't work. I've just pulled the hard drive out, so looks like I should have it. But when going into options on CD playback I don't get the option to rip the CD. Let's see if I can get that one resolved and then post here.
  8. https://www.notion.so/Fuse-boxes-layout-9a1f43c8ec0a44ab98f570116640ad17 I've converted the original manual Fuse Boxes diagrams into a HTML format on my Notion.so account. It's available for everyone. It includes the PDF of the original pages, and tables for each of the fuse boxes (and models where different), including the icon, description and translation. Some translations are vague because it literally will say Backup, Option or Accessory in the manual. If someone has any updates to make then let me know and I'll edit the document. Hope it helps someone as much as it helped me!
  9. I HAD to get it working. I was a but disappointed that from the 3 things I could get in my config (Sunroofs or curtain airbags or TV) I had a TV that's not working. So this makes up for not having the other ones. Kids will be happy and quiet too during the 16h journey we're about to make. I'm really pleased
  10. Solved! Looking at the fusebox diagram for the engine bay right box, fuse 15 (Rear Entertainment System) is a 15A. Checking the box, there was a fuse in 14 where there should't be anything, but 15 was empty. Moved that and voila. Rear TV button on the dash now works, TV and DVD work. Can only play one DVD in the right format that came with the car (Mr. Bean) so will need to figure out recording in NTSC I presume for some cartoon for the kids. I'll post the fuses listings later for others as someone may find it helpful.
  11. Enjoy your camping trip. I'd love to go for one, but my kids are still too young for this. But hopefully we'll have the Elysion with us for many years to come, and we'll make good use of it for family trips.
  12. Can't see the plug as it's all built up into the central armrest and roof. But, I actually did find a fuse layout in the book and a rear entertainmnent system reference. Will try that and report back soon.
  13. Very helpful. I can understand now what's needed to get this done. We're going on holidays in 2 weeks so this will be a test of do we need the extra capacity for the next time. If we do, this whole thread with the pics and parts to use will be a very good guide on achieving this. Thanks @BoMar and @Adibee
  14. The url you're entering from Imgur isn't the actual image url but rather the page displaying it. When you're in your account's images and viewing one, you need to copy the 'Direct Link'.
  15. Get yourself and http://imgur.com/ account and upload there, then insert from URL on the forum. It's weired that we don't have a 'add image from computer' button. Or email them to me if you want, and I can upload to this thread for you
