I needed 4 tyres due to tracking issue few months ago and I put Arrowspeed something on, £27 each I expected ditch finders but so far went and dry they have been brilliant!

Took her for a run today, still does pitch under braking but squeak seems to have gone again... I can't wait for Stu to work his magic, MOT due in March 😏

Hard to say as my commute is urban.... It was a lot colder yesterday and it seemed to come back a little 😫

Update on squeak, after driving to Wales and back it seems to have gone!

Your knowledge of various models/engines exceeds even my geekyness, very impressive. I shall see how it all goes I suppose, there are arguments to keep and arguments to let go at the moment and until I know just exactly what I am dealing with it's hard to be 100! But the thought of jumping into a tidy 2k ish Swift Sport is quite appealing at the moment 🙈

.....it probably seems like I am having a downer on the Coupe, I'm not really but I paid a lot for mine and feel like it just wasn't worth it which in turn makes me think twice about spending on her. So unless something I can't say no too appears in front of me I will get Stu give his honest opinion. I appreciate everyone's feedback, help and advice 😃

All very good points and I am not disagreeing but are the Coupes actually increasing or going to increase in value?? For example I read modern classics and they do talk about other cars from the same era as the Coupe appreciating such as Prelude and even the Peugeot 406 Coupe but never any mention of the Accord Coupe as a potential "modern classic " . They don't seem to be a car that people covet, and I am a bit concerned it may just purely become a forgotten car of no real value regardless of how rare they are??

They are fab cars, very reliable, well rust proofed as more modern. Different type of car to the Coupe, thrash it on the b roads and get 30+ mpg! For me at the moment its potentially more than double what the Coupe is currently worth putting it right then waiting for the next 20 year old car related fault/issue... Can a really tidy Lexus IS200 for that money, or a later model Accord type S???

Hmmm it all comes back to wether I want to do this, I might have a little windfall coming of around 1500 quid so if I thought I could totally sort my car for that I would, or I save a little and get something else for around 2k+

Well, a little update on "squeak gate".. Got a tech from work to have a look/listen(he is Land Rover trained so used to finding faults!) And nothing, every time is goes near a technician or ramp the noise disappears! Couldn't detect any play in anything either... Noticed that when it rains the noise goes or at least becomes far less noticeable 🧐 Anyway drove to Wales tonight from Essex and under braking she pitches/pulls to the right and when you throttle and let off it seems to pitch/pull to the left, bizarre

Thank you! I am fairly tech savvy but uploading vids etc seems beyond me these days 🤣 I have a new 4k Toshiba tv at home and I can't get Freeview through the coaxial aerial cable, bloody thing wont find any channels!

No idea how to upload videos on here! Sent one of the noise to my mechanic mate and he said sounds like bottom ball joint, might just replace both front lower arms!?
