Milesy
Hi all, I love my 2008 2.4 white Elision but she needs new rear brake pads. I bought some on eBay and went to fit them and they were too big, arghhh. I've tried to find some by phoning 4 parts suppliers with no luck. I'm sure they're not hens teeth. Can anyone help me please?
Moderators PTR200S Posted August 18, 2023 Moderators Report Share Posted August 18, 2023 As you have a 2008 version it could be two different versions of pads. Upto about November 2008 it should be part no. 43022 SFE N00 After that December 2008 it should be part no. 06430-SFE-J00 This might be the problem with the parts you have been supplied. Best bet is to ring Cox Honda Motorparts and give them the chassis / vin number and they should be able to check the build date. https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/honda-shop/genuine-honda-elysion-rear-brake-pads/ They seem to have the first part number in stock too, pricey at £57.50 😜😜😜 Once you have established the correct part number try your supplier again for a cross reference after market part.
