Mangoman
Hi. Right, I have an issue. Well, not so much an issue but an annoyance. The previous owner had to replace the complete Instrument Binnacle because it just packed-up one day for a reason no-one could find so he replaced it with a 2nd hand one off Ebay. Now it works perfectly but of course the Mileage is out by about 35000 miles - too much! (Reading 132000). This is supported by the previous MOT's including the last one which was done prior to the thing packing up which read 96000 miles odd. Is there any way I can get this rectified please? Thanks in advance. NB: I have the old Binnacle.
Administrators hughezee Posted December 11, 2016 Administrators Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 The correct mileage will be stored in the ECU but it doesn't update the readout it can be sorted by synchronising them but I can't share that info publicly but I will have a speedo with around 94-96 on it I believe very soon so you could exchange it with the current one if its bothering you?
Mangoman
Hi. Thanks. Yes it does rather. I wouldn't mind it it was just a couple of thou, but nearly 40 is a bit extreme, don't you think. Just let me know when and I will send you the money for carriage. If that is OK with you? Thanks again.
