Administrators hughezee Posted September 4, 2014 Administrators Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 not to panic this warning light is triggered by 2 different things Firstly check the brake fluid reservoir. There's a float switch in the reservoir cap and if the reservoir is actually full, then unplug the wires going to the cap. If that fixes it, you can try cleaning off the float so it doesn't stick. Or get a new cap and don't just leave it unplugged folks. Secondly check Handbrake lever. There's a little push-button switch under the lever and check to make sure the lever actually pushes the button down, maybe a quick clean will free it up. Sometimes the bracket gets bent so when the lever is down it's not pushing the button. Well brake fluid was ok but float on the cap was a little sticky, all sorted
