Nice seeing this getting done on other coupes, makes me miss my old one 😪 -
Don't need to join the masonic lodge now
-
Don't have a pic but was a 12 plate. Only got rid because it was too small for what we needed. Honda is definitely better but I'm still a sucker for a ford
-
I had a fiesta zetec s for two years and it was great but only downfall was its size
-
Starting to really miss old Rhonda. Maybe look for another one in the future

I really would like someone off here to get the benefit of it as you all know what these cars are and I really don't want to go down the road of scrapping it as that just seems like a complete waste -

Hey guys as some of you know next year I'm looking to possibly sell my car around summer timeless. Hopefully I can sell it to someone on here as I know these cars are rare. It's not in the greatest of conditions by no fault of my own. Positives Engine runs sweet as a nut at 132000 miles Spent alot on it. In the past year it's had a new fuel tank in, new fuel pump relay, rear brake disks and pads, offside rear brake calliper reconditioned, earthing wire, no. Plate light brackets, thermostat, offside rear wheel bearing, wiper blades, new front tyres, brake lines and ignition switch. Timing belt and balance belt was done 2 years ago as well as a new exhaust. Negatives Fuel lines were an advisory in mot, dent in drivers door, paint laquer is coming away on the roof, spoiler is off another car ( no idea what) so light doesn't work, regulator on passenger window screwed, rust on rear arches, abs unit goosed and heater only blow cold air despite thermostat change. Put alot of time and effort into this car and will be sorry to see it go but needs must -

Welcome Dave. I use my 2.0 es coupe as a daily and achieve roughly 200 miles per week and my weekly fill up costs £25. I also use my cruise control very regularly which contributes.

Everything corrodes in the uk and it's soooo annoying. Haha had help from my old man. Even he was surprised how easy it was as we thought everything would be ceased but a bit of wd 40 and we were jamming -

Only took 2 hours 40 mins which surprised me even more. Everything came off easier than I thought -
So finally changed my leaky fuel tank. First of all removal is the hard work. 1. Remove fuel lines from tank accessible from boot. 2. Jack car up high and make sure car is stable on axle stands on both sides. 3. Remove wheels and disconnect exhaust, abs sensor, fuel filler neck and breather pipe. 4. Put jack on rear subframe 5. Disconnect suspension from wheels. 6. Lower subframe very slowly using jack while keeping it balanced until it's on ground. 7. Loosen bolts that hold straps on top of fuel tank and disconnect breather valve on top. 8. Remove tank and change over breather valve and fuel line connections. 9. Place back in subframe and bolt straps back into place. 10. Jack up subframe slowly raising while keeping balanced. 11. connect breather valve and raise in place so can reconnect suspension and subframe. 12 . Reconnect abs sensors and filler neck and breather hose. 13. Put wheels back on and reconnect fuel fines then just add fuel.
