Unfortunatly I am forced to sell my Elysion, rising energy bills mean we have to go down to 1 car and seeing as mine is the most expensive to run it's gotta go. Where would be the best place to advertise? I've contacted a couple of places that promise to buy imports but i've had no replies so far.

Mine are about the same pressure as yours and on long journeys I live on cruise control coz I'm lazy 😅

I was not aware the stat was a service item, I'll get that done on the service too then

I'm pretty sure the stat is good, gets up to temp quite quick and sits in the right spot all day

The brakes are fine, just had the fronts pads and discs done but all the other items are a fair shout. I was planning on a gearbox service and major engine service at next scheduled one.

Had a decent run in mine the other week for the first time in ages, 260 mile round trip to Silverstone and back. Most of it on cruise at 70 and mine averaged 22.3 MPG, that's pretty horrific even for a 3.5. No idea why it's that bad? Maybe just needs a good service? Going through the history a bit deeper and all the uk services have been done by dealers so i'm assuming that means oil and possibly oil filter only.

The discs needed doing, even i could see they weren't right as they were quite marked up. Could have been damage caused by failing pads though.

Had the vibration on the front brakes sorted, no discs available in the uk but plenty of meat left on my discs so they've been faced and new pads fitted. sooo much better

I will look at turning them around but as some of them are flickering i suspect they are either cheap items that have failed or incorrectly fitted. Do you know which bulbs/led's i will need to replace them? The one in the drivers door pocket is flickering too. I normally have the dash switch to off but setting it to the door or fully on illuminates the same lights so the door switches are working.

Yes very smooth, pulls nicely and moves along effortlessly. The family all love it too. I do need to sort the interior lights out though, someone had fitted leds in them and they don't all work

Yeah the plan eventually is to replace the spoiler but it will be staying for a while. The exhaust is twin rear silencers with twin tailpipes on each box so yes proper quad outlets. I haven't had a chance to get low enough to check the make but they're a bit quiet. Tyres are 245 40 20", the 40 profile is a bit odd but the speedo is pretty accurate within 2mph of satnav. I haven't even washed it yet to be honest, could benefit from a detail though to get rid of all the swirl marks

I have finally managed to bag an Elysion and with the spec I wanted. 3.5 prestige with dark interior. I viewed it about 3 weeks ago but I had to wait to collect for the cambelt to be replaced (part of the deal). There's a couple of jobs that need doing, there's a tiny piece of trim missing near the gear selector and one of the small storage cubby front cover is broken but both pieces are available through amayama so no biggie. The worst bit though is the led light bar fitted to the spoiler as an extra reverse light. That's getting unplugged sharpish but I will need to replace the spoiler at some point so I'll keep an eye out for a mugen one. I will try and get some pics sorted out in a bit

A deal has been done, deposit paid and once the MOT service and cambelt change has been completed I will be collecting it. Should be about 2 weeks

Ideally I'm looking for a V6 Elysion prestige with the black dash trims. I really don't like some of those orange looking wood trims. There is one for sale but it's about a 3 hour drive away. I have asked a few importers a month ago if they had any like that coming in but they were all busy buying Elgrands

Yes it's a 2.4. I spent quite a bit of time there Sunday looking it over and it's a tidy one. I haven't yet spoke to an importer about getting one for me, do you know how long that normally takes?

Well i've given up my search for an Elysion mainly because I can't find the spec i'm after so my attention has turned to an Odyssey. I viewed this one yesterday and it seems perfect, ran nice and smoothly and everything worked. It needs a new battery, undersealing and a fresh MOT. hoping to go look at an Elysion on Monday, having never looked at one close up before can i assume chassis numbers are in the usual places?
