Yup. The plastic surround to the nut had fractured. The temporary fix of drill and split pinned held while awaiting post.

Got one with a new blade on fleabay by search. Old one on there when I got it was the wrong one and in a 12 o'clock and sweeped past the glass. New one has the correct ofset for the rear sprayer. 2 min job with a 10mm spanner.

Going to attempt instrument cluster removal and opening to fit a MPH inlay card from Lockwood on Sunday. I hope that if sucessful that it doesn't interfere with the blue 3d effect. Also going to fit Head unit work around with a Carpuride display through the stock head unit and somehow utilise the existing rear view camera into the new set up.

Hello all. 1 Week ago I took ownership of a 3.5l V6 Elysion. Looking forward to learning and sharing doing bits to the truck. Jobs for this weekend. Instrument Cluster insert to MPH from Lockwood. This appears quite complex and there is lots of chances to break something. Install of Carpuride 11 inch display to screen mirror and have sat nav/phone connection without changing the main head unit. Will route power/audio cables while instrument cluster is out, I'll try to find a way to utilise the existing rear view camera in the new set up. I'll take some photo's as I go on in order to help anyone else that may want to attempt it in the future.
