Hello all, hope all is well. New elysion owner. Going to get the Elysion checked over by my local mechanic soon. When I bought the vehicle last week it came with a service and they did do an oil change and he mentioned they replaced the battery. Mot was done too. I wanted to check the coolant fluid and other things. Brake/ATF fliuds may have been done about 1 yr ago according to the full Jap service history that came with car manuals. Question: timing belt and water pump-cant figure out if these have been done...theres just ticks next to the “power steering belt/water cooling belt” on the diagrams on the jap service book. No mention of cambelt at all. One website did mention the 2.4 engine is a chain belt that doesnt really need replacement....is this true? Thanks in advance.

Ok so I've referred to this somewhere else.....just used the google translate app to decipher most of the Jap manual (just hover your phone camera over the page and it gives a real time albeit not so perfect transl). Check out below. I've been advised there's a manual on Facebook somewhere also, tks again.

Hello all, was requested to update about by insurance which is starting from next wk.....so basically i was with churchill for my existing Honda Shuttle for £250, the lady just said for the elysion they would have to add another £150 which sounded reasonable so i just went with it....didnt do much shopping around.....hope that helps. Mine is the white 2011 elysion 2.4.

Tks.....Ok so its working now....if the uploading website says "image expires after 24hrs" does that mean the above photo will go again.....i did delete the image actually from the postimage after adding it here....sorry, 1st time doing this sort of thing...

Pics as requested.....sorry its not v bright outside today Apart from that the car is quite big....we were considering something like a stepwagon before we purchased the elysion....will see how it drives about, Insurance starts next wk.

Thanks for the tips so far, the coxmotor spares website looks good. My dad is keen to change the front brake pads-he says they look like they need a change. My dad used to fix VW Beetles back in the day.....

By the way, something quite helpful.....if you use google translate app (see pic below) you just set it to Japanese and hover your phone camera over any Jap writing on the manual and it does an instant translation....quite impressive actually! Though I suppose you lot are used to 95% of what's going on in your vehicles by now.

Thanks thats great, so i tried to paste the pictures on this but it doesn’t work....im not tech savvy. Its def’n japanese version as far as i can tell....service history seems to be in japanese etc. Manual is japanese. Its an elysion prestige model 2.4.

Where do we get an English manual for this car? It came with the Japanese one. The seller said amazon but nothing there, tried ebay also...Needless to say i will go over this website and gather other info as required. All the best. How do u add pictures? SK.
