2000 2001 2002 2003 Honda Odyssey RA6-RA9 Fan Not Working

Interior fans stopped working on the oddy the other day, checked the obvious e.g power getting to the fan and the fan powered up fine from an external 12v source and this led me to the transistor control. 👉

As you can see in the picture above it was almost identical to the coupe's unit (black) but internal comparison revealed it wasn't the same, obviously a different motor is used in the Accord. 🤪

Anyway after checking, there was only one replacement option and almost 200 notes delivered with duties and I had recently placed an order from Japan too. 😧 So decided to go down the repair route and found a replacement Toshiba transistor for £8.99 all in, swapped over components with a splash of solder and the fan is working again.👍
